When the power goes out at your apartment you have to find some place to eat. This was the case when I returned to my place on the Black Sea this summer. While I don't really qualify as a local this is my third summer in the wonderful village/city of Anapa. I can only spend 90 days a year here but I am working on that. But, back to review. I walked up the street and was surprised to see a new (to me) place had opened. It had some english signs and while I can speak some Russian these signs made me a little more confident I'd be able to order. What a find!! The service was awesome, the atmosphere relaxed, and the food was incredible. The chefs, and prep cooks know how to prepare Mexican, North American, and European food masterfully. I also was served one of the best mojitos I've had the pleasure of drinking and I am comparing it to the one I had Hemingway's favorite bar. While some of the staff can speak English, a rare thing in Anapa, if you run into problems point to the picture in the menu. Unlike the rest of the world; what you see is what you'll be served. No PROPAGANDA!
