Our food order was delicious (pasta- Carbonara and Chèvre chicken). Salad bar with dinner rather small and basic. We saw 1xchef and 1xwaitress and they did a good job. On busy days I guess you need to make an appointment. There is a kids play area. There was no music however. But it had cosy atmosphere for rainy evening compared to other places in Kirkkonummi.(The 2 photos in TA are not of this place)

Restaurant Hvittrask was open for Fathers Day lunch. We enjoyed typical Finnish lunch in a historic and beautiful setting. Will definitely come back when the restaurant is open more regularly. Ideally you would like to combine a visit to the adjacent museum and then having a meal in this restaurant.

Quite a find in a quiet suburb in Espoo. A wonderfully inventive and experienced chef, deliciously inspired French cuisine and a wonderful selection of wines including some from the only Finnish female winemaker in Bordeaux (who you might bump into).
We had artichoke soup with girolles and Apple (truly delicious), a delicious salad with an avocado base, followed up by steak (excellent) and artic char (meltingly soft).
The venue is relaxed yet upmarket. Pick a table that overlooks the bridge and the forest rather than the shopping centre.

Local farmer started a cafeteria and gift shop next to his apple farm. With his family he offers good service, wonderful "Aland pancake" in a traditional way, with his own apple twistar to it. Visited with family and friend, as always when we visit Kökar. Definitely a Place to visit utleast once when visiting Kökar.

We came here after a great day in the national forest because of the good recommendations.
The place is really nice and stylish decorated which I like a lot. They also have a great outside Terrace with sea view.
The service was ok but not really friendly. My husband had a beef fillet which was really good - but very rich - not to say greasy, which we did not expect in such a good/expensive restaurant. I asked for a light salad with some grilled beef without oil or any other fats - what did I get? A salad with a reals oily vinaigrette and some cold fat beef. This inflexibility surprised me for a good restaurant - as I send it back I received in exchange a bowl of green leaves with some tomatoes and cucumbers (just like thrown into the plate..) - after some more discussion with the service staff they brought me some grilled fillet beef (of course with fat - but better then nothing).
So if you have special requirement or don't like heavy food I wouldn't recommend this place.
Furthermore the place is really big and not personal which wasn't nice when the place filled up.

I was glad to visit this rather new restaurant in Kirkkonummi for a second time already with my family for a Sunday lunch (a la carte). Starting from the complimentary taco-like crisps (whatever it might actually be called) with dip sauces through deep fried cottage cheese starter to Butter Chicken (excellent!) and Fish Labab Dar (salmon) everything was very tasty, and hot, fresh from the pan. A bit on the expensive side but I think it was worth it.

Ristorante Dennis is easy place where everybody are welcomed to enjoy famous pizzas and other home made italian style dishes. We have warm and welcoming staff and cosy atmosphere. "Good food and feeling since 1975"

At Dennis you can get very tasty pizzas from the oldest pizza restaurant company in Finland. When visiting one of their restaurants quality is always guaranteed. I use to vist these restaurants in Kirkkonummi, Helsinkli as well as Turku, where it all started in the 1970'ies.

Rosta is not a restaurant but a very nice cafe with great cakes and buns. It is the best cafe in Kirkkonummi even if the location is not so good. The staff is really nice and helpful especially the spanish lady behind the desk. They have a good selection of quality teas of their own import.

Maatilapuoti sells local food directly from the farmers as well as local handcraft. They welcomed us in even though they would have officially opened after a couple of hours. The place is a charming farm house and the personnel are amazing. The cafeteria offers several kinds of good looking gluten free options, definitely worth to try! For example toffee (or more like kinuski) options were great. They have also handmade ice cream (gluten free) available - something to try out next time.
