Bill and I've always preferred dinner at a restaurant's bar to dinner at a table. The whole experience is more relaxed and relaxed is how we live. Lately we've found a new favorite hangout: the Applebee's in Highland Heights/Cold Spring. Our relaxed experience was enhanced both nights by an excellent bartender, Joel, who serves dinner as meticulously well as he serves tall beers fast. This is definitely my local restaurant of choice - Applebee's Corp. could take some lessons from this location!

When we entered a patron loudly proclaimed â get the calamari â.We did. Good call. It was not overcooked or tough as is often the case. Marinara and chili sauce that came with it were good.The menu said best calamari in Cincinnati and maybe it is, but the is not much in the way of competition.The shrimp was a serious disappointment.It was the same kind of generic shrimp served at fast food places that is poured out of a bag from Krogerâs. The French fries were not very fresh. Oysters were as good as any my wife has had anywhere. The garlic bread was as good as any 4 star Italian place I have patronized. Garlic bread was considered a side and was overpriced. The other patrons were at various stages of inebriation and were very loud. While the server was okay, she was slow and inattentive. We will be back to try again, but no shrimp.

It was the first time that we have eaten there and it will not be our last. I had the salmon with mixed vegetables with a baked potato . It was very good. We had to wait almost 45 minutes for the table but they will text you when your table is ready. They also had music playing starting at 9:00 pm Thank you for your feedback and your review. WELL, LOOK NO FARTHER!!! I can't ever remember, in my entire life, a better meal!What more can I say? This review is beyond speechless because the dining experience at The Precinct was beyond belief! Husband had the bbq ribs...they were great...very tender. I had the pulled pork, also very good, ample portions. Great beer selection. Bar area is smoking, restaurant is not. The staff was wonderful...service was prompt and extremely friendly. Prices very fair.

Three couples went for a birthday celebration and were glad we did. Our server, Kat, was so friendly, along with the hostesses and everyone else there. Food was goodâlarge portions & served quickly. I called ahead after booking reservation on Yelp to sat we had a birthday celebration and at end of meal received a complimentary dessertâbread pudding, which was delicious. Weâll be back!

We went for our daughter's birthday dinner and as usual the pizza was outstanding. Great crust and loaded toppings along with really good appetizers and cold draft and craft beers. It is always great when we go to Mac's in Cold Spring, KY. The service was very friendly and courteous and attentive..already looking forward toour next visit!!

Stopped in here for lunch, ordered the club sandwich with fries. Super good sandwich!! The fries were awesome dipped in mouth watering honey mustard sauce!! Mmmm!! I was so lucky that I saved some of this for a midnight snack because it was perfect!! Our waitress was delightful! Very helpful and sweet. Pricing was decent for the portion size. Oh and the ROLLS!! You are going to love the rolls!

Used to go to Barleycorn's regularly many years ago. So, we were eager to see if not much had changed over the years. The menu is really varied and many choices. The service was excellent. Our lunch was tasty and reasonably prices. We will definitely return.
