Located in an especially touristy spot on the beach, Iâm a bit surprised how average this place is. Then again, maybe not - maybe they get customers anyway, even if they donât really excel neither in service or food department.Itâs just not very inviting and youâll do much better eating somewhere else.

We came here on our first night in Langkawi. The setting of the restaurant is lovely and the staff are very welcoming. Huge restaurant although rather empty due to low season. The food quality was good and the menu was varied. Would recommend dining here for a nice lunch/dinner. Compared to other restaurants in Langkawi, it is on the more expensive side but we still had a nice three course meal.

We loved the food here and have been here a few times. The only problem is that it looks like it needs a serious renovation. I understand the current short term leasing arrangement stops the current tenant from wanting to invest, so it's a shame the owner is so short sighted. This place could be the very best dining spot in Langkawi if it looked a bit smarter. The food is fabulous and the bar area is really great -- and the decor looks a lot better there than the main restaurant. Such a shame as this could be so much more! By the way, loved the Rendang here!!!

Wonderful dining experience. You select the fish you want from the tank, itâs freshly prepared in Chinese steam style, juicy delicious fish in a spicy sauce. Fresh Mango salad and veggies as side. If you wish, they serve decent white wine here too (due to Langkawiâs tax-privileged status not as expensive as in Malaysia mainland).

Me and my partner came here for a late lunch as we had just landed. The staff were lovely and the restaurant is inside and air conditioned which we were looking for. The food was delicious!!! We had a green curry with a side of vegetables and my partner had a pad Thai. Would highly recommend

I was really lucky that day, It was my gf birthday and I picked same day to give her the ring so I searches for a nice restaurant preferably with great view for such memorable day. Once I decided I called them to book for 7:00 pm sunset time. They were very understanding and helpful and offered me to help with the whole âringâ thing. The only issue is the restaurant on top of a hill but once we reached the location we found a small car waiting to take us top.I was amazed. We got a super view table and talked to the manager there. He told me not to worry about anything. Took the ring and helped with the whole proposal thing. With a complimentary desserts with the ring inside it. Iâve got to admit we both were shocked of the idea but it was brilliant. Once we finished the day they offered the same small car to take us down again. It was awesome. Worth all the effort.thanks guys for making that day special. Thank you for dining at Rimba, we're glad you enjoyed your visit. Cba, the beachfront 80-seater restaurant of Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort and Spa provides alfresco dining. It specializes in Asian fusion dishes for lunch and dinner and breakfast is Continental. Dinner is semi- buffet and there are a wide variety of Continental desserts. I enjoyed having dinner on the sea beach with cool breeze blowing from the Straits of Malacca and live musical band. The interiors crafted from recycked wooden doors.
