Visited this place numerous times, overall very decent tavern, although sometimes there are certain problems. In the first place, they have very interesting menu, mainly with Russian and Ukrainian cuisine. Unfortunately last time we've visited my horsemeat steak was overcooked. So there are some inconsistencies, but generally it is a good restaurant.

Soul kitchen restaurant. Our menu is not the edge of our abilities. We can cook everything you want, if the Chef will have ingredients. Cooking by the book of recipes from 1881 y. There is Negroni bar on the base of CHEF. Specializes in Negroni (more then
The restaurant is situated in the basement, but is very easy to find. They have an English menu, which is most helpful. The meal took some time to arrive, but this was clearly due to the fact that the food was freshly made; it was worth the wait. Prices very reasonable.

Went for dinner with colleagues. This is a bit more expensive than the normal restaurant but worth it in my opinion. Many Kazakh movies have been filmed here it appears as they are displayed on the menu which is very extensive.I loved the food and some of what we had was the salmon caviar, a full sole fish (speciality and large), some kebabs. And of course a nice bottle of Russian Standard vodka - suggest you order the small or large bottle instead of ordering by glass.Service was decent, and the Montenegran chef came personally to serve the Sole fish which was a nice touch.

A personal favourite. Cheerful, friendly service makes up for limited English. The menu comes in English, so start with that. Not sure about the home made vodka, but worth trying out of curiosity. Not haute cuisine, but good basic Russian food. Recommend the pelmeni and the mushroom and potato vareniki.
