Having been brought up in South East Asia, my review is bound to be a little harsh. I avoid all Asian restaurants in Europe, as I firmly believe that flavours and spice are adjusted to fit the palate of the local community, making it very hard to eat authentic Asian cuisine away from Asia. I went to the Wok N' Chopsticks, not by choice but for a relatives' Wedding Anniversary party. We were invited to eat from the buffet. While the service was friendly, and quick to ask if we needed any more drinks and cleared our plates between trips to the buffet, I do not have anything positive to say about the food. The curries and meat gravies taste and smell like they come from a can, with a strong smell of tinned bamboo shoots overpowering the whole dining room. The fried items, such as the noodles, rice, spring rolls, prawns and battered chicken were oily and bland, lacking flavour and substance. Two thirds of the buffet consisted of Danish food and a salad bar, with a choice of salad fillings, bread-crumbed fish, french fries, meatballs and rye bread. The fish and fries were soft and cold, while the mini-meatballs were cold in the centre, like they'd been thrown into a fryer straight from their freezer bag. I suppose the Danish selection is meant to satisfy clients that are not keen on Asian food or want the best of both worlds, though I'd certainly say neither selection was delicious. There were three types of sushi, and thinly sliced salmon (not comparable to sashimi) covered in dill, which were the most popular for the other visitors at my dining table, but I would not personally recommend Wok N' Chopsticks to anyone I know.

Very big portions, Tasty pasta very well prepared and so much of it so you will not be able to eat a starter or dessert. Just an advise so you do not send back half a portion.

One star for the location, one star for the friendly staff, one star for the nice food, one star for the room, interior, and acoustics, and one star for the quality/price ratio. This adds up to five stars. I went there for late lunch with my wife. Really good food, and no problem changing the menu a little bit due to my wife's pregnancy. We will come back!

Inviterede vores søn og svigerdatter på ophold Smålandshavet og De Hvide Svaner. (kombineret ophold). Overnattede på Smålandshavet, (der er pool og sauna), da De Hvide Svaner ikke har mulighed for overnatning. Det gør faktisk heller ikke noget, da man bliver hentet i bus ved Smålandshavet, og kørt de få kilometer ned til restauranten. Det er værten og hans orkester der selv spiller under middagen, og senere til dans. Vi skulle fejre vores søns 22 års bryllupsdag, og vores guldbryllup. Det er den samme menu man har kørt med længe, men det gør heller ikke noget. Alle retter er rigtig gode, og har man bestilt ophold med menu og drikkevarer, får man et armbånd på, der viser hvad man har betalt for. Drikkevarer er ad libitum, også drinks. Det er et godt arrangement, og musikken er for alle 50+, og det er musik man kender. Klokken 01.00 bliver man hentet igen af bussen og kørt ned til overnatning med morgenmad på Smålandshavet. Jo vi ser frem til næste gang vi skal more os. Tak til værten René og hele hans stab af medarbejdere.

This has to be the best place to eat in Naestved, really good choice and generous portions. You will find a reasonable price list, decent selection of wine, with superb pasta choice.
The fish is excellent, with steak options good value for money. Efficient service, which mirrors your pace. I have dined when in a rush and left in an hour, on another occasion stayed for 3 hours with a feeling that I was welcome to stay as long as I wish.

Enjoyed our first traditional, Danish Christmas dinner in this characterful restaurant. Each of the 10 courses was delicious - cooked to order and prefect. The staff were very helpful, explaining each course in English and suggesting local Christmas beer to complement the fish, pork and duck. The set menu was great value too, only 319Kr per person. A special dinner and experience. Tak.

When I was a child, I loved to walk barefoot into the waters by Kanal Kroen, catching small shrimps with my fishing net while my parents sat talking with friends and the owner. Today, twenty years later, Kanal Kroen has blossomed from a humble waterside meeting place to a cozy restaurant. The view is the same of course, of the Grasshopper bridge, swans, and ships passing by. Whenever we return to Karrebaeksminde, my family and I enjoy dining at Kanal Kroen because we can depend on the menu for keeping to those classic Danish dishes we love so much, and we know they do them well. We especially enjoy their Stjerneskud (plaice fillet, asparagus, and shrimps) , battered herring, pariserbøf with red onions (minced beed with an egg yolk), and breadcrumbed camembert cheese. They have an outdoors Terrace, which makes for lovely outdoors dining in warm weather, but plenty of indoors Seating as well. I particularly recommend a visit in the summertime for the outdoors experience, because there's much to see from kanal kroen, especially when there's the second-hand weekend market, boat racing and live music.

Got the holy 3 dish menu with the wine menu.
The food was perfect with the right amount and great taste.
The service from the waitrist was very kind and very observative. Very pleasent staff
This is definately a place were I will come again in the near future.

Dined here spontaneously a Saturday evening after a long day with friends. Just needed something to eat, so the buffet seemed like an obvious choice to cater for everyone. Some of the staff were very friendly/customer service minded, others barely noticed us.
Chinese food, not good - some had even been on the buffet for so long a knife could not cut through it.
Sushi, was Ok.
Mongolian bbq was good.
Ice cream was Ok.
Coffee had been standing for way too long.
Did not try the salad and fruit was fine.
Toilets dirty with toilet paper all over the floor and stinky, the same for a childrens playroom.
Indoor smoking room and parking available.
Other guest's kids were running around the restaurant incl. Kids assuming to be children of the owners of the restaurant. A little stressful, hectic and crazy.
