I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Hot Basil. My meal was great and the service was good during my visit. The leftovers were great too! A gentleman sitting near me was so funny - his meal arrived but was much spicier than he anticipated. However, he wouldn't stop eating it and exclaimed several times that it was "just so good" despite causing his eyes to water, his nose to run, and him drinking about a pitcher of water while he ate! My pad Thai was perfect at "medium" but was spicier than most "medium" I have encountered. Really, a great meal though!

Traveling through town and found Johnny Casconeâs on app. Many entree choices -all diners should be able to find something to eat. Friendly wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. Chunky clam chowder with my entree was tasty. Adequate portion sizes.

They donât take reservations, and we waited about 40 minutes on a Saturday night for a party of 6 at 630pm. Still it was worth the wait. Yummy flavors although some felt their meals too sweet (Samui scallops). Loved the lychee martini and the Pad Gapow. Very large servings. Next time I would split an entree with someone and get a salad.

We came here for the food and we werenât disappointed but it was the service that left a bad taste in our mouth. We seldom saw the server and had to resort to flagging him down to order, for a drink refill, and waiting so long for the check we could have eaten another meal. Do not come here if you are in a hurry.

Always impressed with this place. They are so consistent in all aspects of their service and food quality for a locally owned restaurant! We love their bubble teas (best in town) and tofu with spicy awesome sauce. â¤ï¸Not open Sunday (good for them) and acoustics a bit loud. Super patio.

Freshly made when you order. We had a fun time trying to decide on flavors that we wanted. Their sushi rolls have fun names! Also, their sashimi is very fresh. Service was a little slow when there is a crowd. Just be patient and you will enjoy the sushie eventually. Crispy crab rangoons were served as appetizers.
