Road trip Sunday to the Kinzua Bridge Sky Walk. stopped here for a late lunch. The place was busy. Two ordered the Texas Outlaw burger, I got the hot dog's with their special sauce and one got the gyro. Everything was good, the service was great. It wasn't terribly expensive. I would eat here again, but I wouldn't make a special trip.

We visited Country Pines on a rainy day and it was quiet. When the rain stopped, people started arriving in increasing numbers. There is a covered veranda with very nice benches and tables, so we were able to enjoy the rain and the ice cream...MoreWhat a wonderful review. Thank you !

family style restaurant in small town in PA worth reviewing, it was terrific

This restaurant is actually a few miles outside of Kane, but it is a pretty ride through the forest to get here. We were there for breakfast which was good and very reasonably priced. Omelettes were tasty and the hash browns were good though they did not come out crispy as requested. Wait staff was very friendly.

Not many choices for restaurants in this area. Tried eating here for a second time. First time was a disaster, this time wasn't too much better. The waitress was great, but the food was just so so.

Syzmanski's Restaurant

We stopped in for a Friday fish fry, something traditional in our area. There was a menu board in front of the door displaying that night's specials. The building is a nicely renovated former hotel/bar/restaurant. The restored original oak woodwork is complimented by matching chair rail wainscoting and dark green walls. There is a separate large bar area and 2 dining areas to allow for larger groups. We both ordered the fried haddock, although the menu features a large variety of choices. Our waitress quickly brought our drinks, salads, and warm homemade rolls. Within 10 minutes, our dinners arrived. The large filet was lightly coated and although deep fried, it was not greasy. Ample sour cream and butter were provided for the baked potatoes. I needed a box for my dinner leftovers and my dinner partner finished their dinner, so we had no room for dessert. At $10, the meal was reasonable. Our pleasant waitress was busy with other tables, but checked back twice to see if our dinners were ok and if we needed dessert or beverage refills. The only negative was the window air conditioner. Even though we were about 20 feet away, it was quite loud. Also, the restrooms might be a bit of a walk for someone who has physical limitations.

it is only chain type food service in Kane. Hey it's subway they are all pretty much the same. I don't like the fact that they go through a lot of different people all the time but that's the nature of the beast.

We tried a large pizza here as it was within walking distance of where we were staying overnight. We were very pleasantly surprised. The size was a bit larger than what I would consider a nornal large, so you certainly get a lot for the money. I believe it was a 10-cut pizza, and each piece was rather large. We ordered ours with extra cheese and pepperoni. They were generous with the cheese, and the pepperoni was the mini pepperoni we like, and it was perfectly brown and crispy at the edges. The sauce itself had a definite zing to it; I found it quite bold but it was not overwhelming. The dough was on the thin-medium size but it had this amazing quality where it was still on the yeasty-doughy side (as opposed to being too airy), and it was very soft without being soggy. It was a good kind of soft, where you can easily fold the pizza in half to eat it. One piece will be filling and consuming two was challenging. This pizza will definitely fill you up. I believe the cost was very reasonable; somewhere around $15. Too bad we don't live closer or this would be my new favorite place!

Stopped in while on a roadtrip because we could see it from the main road. Parking is a little bit of a challenge, we used a small lot that I'm pretty sure wasn't for the restaurant. There is also onstreet parking. It was Weds so they offered 50 cent chicken wings. I ordered 6 wings mild, buffalo style hot sauce (there was no med offered, only mild and hot. They were medium spicy for sure). Beside the buffalo style I think there were 7 different other sauces. They were hot and crispy and pretty good. The sauce is poured on, same with the sauce my sister ordered. I also ordered mozzerella sticks and they were just fine. Hard to mess those up really :)

Allow me to start off with their homemade tea. Absolutely AMAZING. I'm a huge fan of their egg rolls. I've never sat in to eat, as we got our food to go. I think the interior could use a BIG update, but I understand, times are tough. All that matters to me is that they've got great food, and they're friendly. Check and Check.
