NIKI BEACH is located in Kamariotissa, 500 meters from the port of Samothrace and 10 meters from the beach. It has been in operation since 1982 and was fully renovated in 2007. It is a hotel on the island, certified by the Greek National Tourism Organization in 2010.NIKI BEACH is essentially located at the center of the island, offering to its guests the capability of easily exploring the island of the Kavirians. The visitor can wander through the narrow alleys of Chora, located 5 km away, a traditional protected settlement, with a particular color. It is imperative to visit the archaeological site, which is located at a 5km distance from the hotel. You may also walk on the mountain up to the Vathres (ponds) at 14 km, and also to Therma (hot springs). The ponds are natural pools, of a rare beauty, created by the waterfall. Furthermore, you can swim at the Pachia Ammos beach, which is the only sandy beach, located at a distance of 14km, at the south of the island.

It has a nice swimming pool, facing the clear ocean, with spacious rooms, quiet ceiling fan, air conditioned, flat screen TV with several channels, wash cloth (first hotel in Greece where we encountered it, after having already stayed in 5 different hotels), shower box that works and does not flood the entire bathroom floor, working drains...It does not have a functioning stopper for the sink (so, bring your own), quiet premisses, safe in the room. A great place to have a great sleep and then a nice breakfast in the morning.

Our hotel has 55 spacious, comfortable rooms, specially equipped, with free WiFi throughout the hotel. The types of rooms are: single, double, triple and quadruple with TV, air-condition, fridge and private bathroom. All rooms are simply furnished and have a private balcony. Some of them are overlooking the hotel’s garden and the Aegean Sea, where even Mount Athos can be seen on days with a clean atmosphere. The rest of the rooms are overlooking the imposing mountain of Saos and the island's beautiful countryside.
Basic but good enough for anyone
Reviewed By narcisagheorghiasAeolos hotel in Samothraki is one of the oldest hotel on the island. It is the largest, too, with a really quiet and great position, with a wonderful sea view at sunset. Being large and old it's difficult to invest in, so it's still pretty basic in the rooms (we had 2 simple twin beds, a normal sized room, an oldfashioned bathroom but everything clean and well-kept. We also had breakfast included, which was pretty rich and tasty, served on the large cool terrace of the hotel. For Samothraki island is a good accommodation for families, though. What is outstanding about it is the living soul of Sofia, the administrator, who gives her heart to it. She is absolutely wonderful and helping in all the possible ways...and we were a challenge to her with all our needs and desires of 2 fussy families ! Thank you, wonder woman! ( the photos that you find on Google are absolutelu real.)

Friendly Family Welcome
Reviewed By Brian HThese rooms are a short uphill walk from the centre of Kamariotissa port. The family proved to be welcoming and excellent hosts who provided generous traditional hospitality in the shape of refreshments, fruit and other food. In addition to the accommodation the family produce and sell wine, tsipouro, olive oil and honey. Our ensuite room was compact and comfortable with a balcony shaded by vines and lemon trees. A separate kitchen was available for guests' use. There were also tables and chairs in the outside garden area for guests to relax in. In conclusion we are happy to recommend these rooms where everybody made us feel so welcome.

Cockroaches the room
Reviewed By jontwaldTerrible apartments, the owner was not interested in helping when we found cockroaches in the room, he said it was normal. Dirty bathroom and the smell of sewage keeps drifting up over the balcony. This place is not like the pictures online, it is a mess. The owner was very rude to us when we complained. Never going back.
