Made a nice break from eating at our hotel nearby without the hassle of taxi to Lindos town. The restaurant is spotlessly clean with nice table settings and attentive friendly service. The food was well prepared and presented. Especially enjoyed the home made panna cotta dessert and strawberry sauce. A really nice evening at a reasonable price.

Ostria Restaurant is located at the waterfront of Kalathos Beach. It is a Family run restaurant since 1999. The homemade meals and friendly service are all taken care of by the members of the Family. Ostria Restaurant offers a great variety of Greek traditional meals and fish platters. The restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner every day during the season. Our restaurant is also available for Small and Large Wedding Receptions offering a large variety of meal options. Our Garden can accommodate up to 1000 people and we can arrange services such as Live Music, Djs, Decorations, Cakes and all other services required for a stress free wedding.

We came there after our engagement, and were surprised with this lovely and quite place. First it seemed quite empty, but during the evening it was full of people sitting outside, someone of them even had to wait while the staff were bringing more tables. It's a very beautiful place in the evning, with all these lights around the trees and tables on the grass near the sea. Very romantic I would say
The food were really decent and the service lovely, but not TOO sweet. The waiter didn't have panacota, so he felt bad and gave us another dessert for free.. decent man!
We ordered:
2x Grilled seabream with boiled veggies - just perfect, tasty and juicy
Water, lemonade, wine glass, Greek koffe and 2x free desserts
Total 32euro and superb evening

My husband had ice cream which he said was very good,I had a Mojito and I watched the "bar tender" get out a book to read how to make one! Tasted OK but lacked enough mint.

Conveniently situated opposite our hotel, this is a friendly family restaurant offering excellent local food at a reasonable price. I would recommend the shrimps from Symi, the salted anchovies, cheese balls and the sea bream. The village wine was a perfect accompaniment. If you like capers, you can enjoy the whole plant, harvested locally.

A very popular restaurant on the night we dined lots of the diners looked like they were enjoying fish dishes my wife decided to go Greek and choose mousaka which she said was very nice

Had snacks here for lunch and been here a few times for cocktails and beers and it's always been a pleasant experience especially with the friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit

The ambience and food make for a wonderful evening. We visited several times during our stay and always had excellent service in addition to exceptional food. The manager, Dimitris was always welcoming and kept a watchful eye on things. The three waiters - Dimitris, Vasilis and Natalie were efficient, friendly and helpful. We hope to return next year.
