This Italian restaurant, runned by a Japanese chef, was another great find! On arrival the waitress asked for our reservation, which we didn't have. But no problem, we were seated anyway. The food (special made vegetarian menu) was very tastefull, the wine great and the service perfect!!

This restaurant is the updated of the previous restaurant Wai Wai. It is very unique and now has a new location, hidden up a winding driveway in Kirishima-shi. It is best to phone the restaurant and they can give you direct directions. There isn't a sign!There's a shop selling indigo-dyed clothes and jewellery, and the restaurant with full length windows is nearby. Parking is in the grounds.The menu is brief but the food is good and the setting is like nothing you've ever seen. It's like a fairy wood.Three women appear to work in the kitchen of which you can see. There's a window looking through.It's only a small place so I'd make a reservation beforehand.
