We met friends here for brunch on a Sunday morning. Both couples chose the 'Queen's Taffel' and the 'King's Taffel'. Both came with loads of food - all cooked well and beautifully presented on the large plates. There was free re-fills of coffee and tea and a choice of a complimentary organic juice. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and spent a good 2.5 hours eating and chatting. The service could have been slightly more attentive but there was only one waitress to a full restaurant.

This ace has a wide selection of beers but not much to choose from in terms of wine. The food comes in generous portions and is well made and tasty. The dips with warm bread were very good for starter. The chicken burger was good but HUGE which is not necessarily a bad thing :-)The room is cafe style with bar seating.

A cosy cafe near the pedestrian streets at the centre of Silkeborg. Decoration is special with designer chairs of different kind. Serve small lunch dishes, sandwiches, salads etc. - and drinks, soft drinks etc. Always nice ambiance and kind service.

It's a coffee shop. I would say it has an Italian note to it with a proper espresso, latté, cappuccino etc. You can also buy coffee beans there. The quality of the coffee is good and they really put some effort into every cup made. I've been visiting the place for the last two years and never had a bad experience. It's a simple coffee shop with some snack on the side but mostly something sweet or morning croisants. It's a cosy, take-away friendly café. The orders are made by the counter ONLY, but they will bring the order to the table. If you are in Silkeborg and looking for a good cup of coffee and nothing else, it's a MUST to stop there. The pricing is reasonable and the place is located in the heart of the city.

I went for a lunch by my own and ordered the tapas plate. It looked very good, but tasted bland. Good size, and the bread was hot and moist and definately the best part of the meal. Great concept, but each element in their tapasplate need more flavour. And a bit of olive oil on the salad would be nice. Great location and friendly staff - could be excellent...
