Very good service by the staff, and good reccomandation of wine. I ate red deer, and the taste and presentation was very nice. Absolutely reccomended, also for special occations.

Good menu with lots of options, the pork fillet was very good. Overall presentation and flavours warrant the calling themselves a gastropub.Options to eat in the pub itself or the more formal dining room.

Try the Ova Nova menu. A fantastic bombardment of delicious dishes. Nouveau cuisine meets classic dishes and ingredients. Tulstrup Kro doesn't need to use ants or other bizarre ingredients to give a fantastic experience. I can only recommend to try out the Ova Nova menu as we did yesterday. I have been looking at my pictures several times today to relive the dishes in my head... I will upload most of the dishes - let it speak for itself....

A classic "pølsevogn" grill joint that has somehow grown into an institution. The fare is by nature average and consists of burgers, hot dogs and other grill bar food, combined with classic Danish dishes. But the staff is friendly and the both the rotund building and the surroundings in the middle of the woods make it worth a visit.

Our expectations for a delicious, exiting and special menu were fulfilled. The atmosphere is very nice in an old building at a lake shore. Good waiter telling presenting the wine and dishes.Pascuale the owner and cook also brought and presented sone of the dishes- This gives a special atmosphere being among passionate personel.We enjoyed a 5 course dinner with wine menu.

By pure incident we past this little place in a "no where" town in the middle of Jutland. It was around lunchtime so we decided to try it out. And what a splendid choice. My wife was not that hungry so she chose a "small" dish with fried fishballs which turned out to be nice and very good quality compared to the Price (DKK 69). My choice was a bigger mixed fish plate with many traditional Danish fish courses but also teriyaki eel :0) Huge plate and very tasty for only DKK 159. And they served good micro brewery beer together with the food. Highly recommendable

Great location of the cafe with a lake view. The food was wonderful and the staff was friendly. There was some misunderstandings with the menu, and we had to wait a long time. The staff should probably inform guests that everybody must order by the cash register, not only guests seated outside.

I dined here this week with some visitors from Oman and found the food to be absolutely first class and would recommend this to anyone. Booking is really essential as it is very popular.The service was to be honest slow BUT good food professionally prepared and presented takes time and care so don't expect this to be a rapid evening or lunchtime. Instead enjoy your wine and company.
