Find out what Tibetan restaurants to try in Leh. The Ladakh capital city of Leh lies near the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir, on the crossroads of the historic "Silk Route" from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. The humbling monasteries of Shey, Hemis, Alchi, Thikse and Lamayuru will nurture your spiritual needs, and the landscape of Leh provides for a number of adventure activities including mountaineering, white-water rafting and trekking along the Markha Valley.

Small room... one lead lady.. but that humble restaurant remains packed most of the time.. we ordered one portion potato cheese momo which was unique and well prepared and veg momo which was also nice.. my wife particularly enjoyed the red chilly garlic dry chutney (some version of schewauan sauce and is very spicy) they serve with momo. Portion size is very good around 10 momos in one plate.. Thupka was also nice. But it's a meal in itself..

We were here nine years ago and were happy to find it still in business. Great view of the busy pedestrian-only bazaar below. And that might be the best thing about the restaurant. The food was good, the service a bit lackadaisical. The men's room offered an unpleasant throwback-- a dirty squat toilet. There are now cleaner, more cheerful restaurants happy to have your business.

Not exactly a resturant but a small kitchen with few tables in open . Best time to enjoy their food is in day as evenings are pretty cool and seating place is not more then a small room Their menu has surprsingly variety mexican, italian, tibeti every thing they have it and yes they cook it awesome. Try Kahwa and Thupka for sure . My kids loved their pizza which was generous to be that cheesy to make italians at shame . Wonderful taste and food .

The place is quite nice and upscale, although the toilet could use a bit of maintenance. The food was not too inspiring, though. I only had momos, which were rather tasteless. Probably other items are better. The staff were all playing noisy video games when they weren't actually working, which I found really annoying. They should at least have had the sound turned way down. And there should have been someone paying attention to the customers all the time.Dear Teri T Jullay Thanks for taking out time to write review for us. We have noted down the suggestion and feedback shared by you, and will positively work on it and we are hoping that next time when you will visit, we will not disappoint you. And lastly regarding Momos, we make it in traditional Ladakhi/Tibetan style which is little bit plain as compare to what normally other food joints sell here in Leh as well as other part of country, so we guess that is why you found it tasteless. Thanks for your visit. Regards Team Sky Wok Ladakh

To be honest we didn’t expect much, because it is a place in main backpackers ‘ street. We had Ladakhi-Tibetan food which was really nice, freshly made and served properly. And the prices are just great, even not expensive! Will visit this place again.

This is nice Tibetan restaurant in a bungalow type structure close to the main Leh Market, with an open area in a verandah and inside area. We reached early around 7.30 pm as it gets crowded later. The ambience of the restaurant is not upscale but appropriate in the local setting. The service was helpful in advising us on the local dishes to try out. We had vegetable thepka ( noodle soup), mutton momos, and mutton septa ( served with freshly baked local bread).
