Charm in the Louise district

Charming and unique. Had everything you need and more. Love the courtyard and snack bar. A great neighborhood and close by public transportation to get into the city. Our room was large and felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. Highly recommend!

Nice location, poor service

Nice location. Small room. Very nice outside garden but very dirty. The bar was closed a few days in 5 I spent there and could not understand the reason. Fair breakfast. Personnel nice. Decoration very interesting. Nice policy for environment savings but one bath towel for two people is too less.

Visit to Brussels

The are condition in the room did not really work. The water in the shower tended towards either ice cold or scorching hot, and it was very hard to get some in between. Other than that, the hotel was great. Staff was friendly (though they failed to address my concerns about the room), location was good, and the breakfast was excellent.

Renaissance Brussels Hotel

Our final choice in Brussels

Reviewed By Hassen59

My family and myself stayed several times at Renaissance Brussels Hotel in the last few years and we have always had great stays. The hotel staff is very helpful and kind, the hotel is always perfectly clean including the rooms, the swimming pool is of good size and people there are normally well-behaved so you can swim laps easily. The breakfast is really great (I do not hesitate to ask when I need something...) even for kids of all ages, the car park is under the hotel (helpful in Brussels...) and it is easy to park not far from an elevator. Another great thing is the location as it is located in a very safe and quiet area while being close to the city centre. Renaissance Hotel is our final choice in Brussels.

Big contrast between good service and common areas and the rooms

Reviewed By mauarg

I have mix feelings on this hotel. Starting by the reception: service was very good, everybody very friendly and helpful. Same in the restaurant and breakfast area. Decoration was also nice, not too cold hotel decor but not too much “warm” either. However, the rooms are weird. I understand the mood and the history, but it could be less dark and a bit less “historical” as it looked like the room was 100 years old. I would have appreciated also some place to work.

Terrible experience

Reviewed By rachelbE3615WY

I booked into this hotel looking for somewhere reasonably priced to stay for a few days while in Brussels. I was due to arrive in the evening however my flight was late, plus the airline lost my bag, delaying me even further. While I was in the air (thus unable to read my email) I received a message at 9.30pm to say they were closing the reception at 10pm. I did not receive this message until I landed at 10.30pm. When I got to the hotel, they had locked the door and there was no way for me to gain access to my room – which I had pre-paid for. They left me locked out on the street, at midnight, in a city I barely know. I had to pay for a room in another hotel. The receptionist at the second hotel told me I was the fourth person in recent times who had been locked out by Beverly Hill Hotel. The hotel’s response to this is that they had informed me about the opening and closing times of reception in the booking e-mail but it was not clear to me that reception closing time means they are happy and comfortable to lock their guests out. The fact that they will lock you out if you can’t make it by reception close time was not well communicated. When I finally checked in next day, I was given a small, noisy room with a bed that sagged in the middle. There are very many other hotels in the same area, charging around the same room rate, that have 24 hours check in and are much nicer than Hotel Beverly Hills (I know as I had to stay in one that first night). There really is absolutely nothing to recommend Hotel Beverly Hills.

Couples visit

We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location just a 5 minute walk from Avenue Louise. Good transport links, bus 38 from across the road from hotel takes you into Brussels centre. We decided to walk, it took us about 40 minutes from the hotel to the Grand Place, taking in a lot of sites on the way. We passed through the charming area of Sablon, worth a visit. Breakfast was great, plenty of everything, light breakfast served from 4am. Only downside was a room on the small side and only one side of the bed accessible. All in all a great stay and somewhere we would return. Day trips to Brugge and Antwerp easy on the train.

Jardin Secret

Find our interior plant shop in this small Le Berger street. It would seem at first sight as an ordinary plant shop. Yet it couldn’t be a less ordinary place. It is where you will find our gardener and keeper of keys. The back door of the shop leads you to a secret garden and, within it, to our rooms which all have a view on the garden.

Good hotel, but quite deceitful

Reviewed By amo_bel

We had high expectations when going to "Jardin Secret", as they advertised themselves as a quiet secret heaven in the city. It turned out that reality is not as strong as their marketing... - First, the hotel is not really "secret". The reception desk is the one of the hotel "Le Berger", from which Jardin Secret is just an extension. You have a very classic hotel experience (and they have 30-ish rooms, so don't expect a "small boutique hotel"). - Rooms are very clean, but quite small and sober. The Instagram-like pictures on website and social media have a better rendering than reality. - And the worst: the rooms are super noisy. We had the worst room in the hotel (004, if you get it, just demand to change), just next to the entrance and elevator. We had to deal with groups of drunk people making noise in the hallway all night long. We really had a bad sleep because of that and it tainted our experience. I usually don't put 2/5 to a hotel for such issues, but what decided me to do so is that I had planned to tell about our bad experience at the reception desk at check-out. Unfortunately, the lady didn't even ask me how was our stay and my check-out was expedited in 5 seconds.

Maison Flagey

A few steps away from the Place Flagey, famous for its animation, its bars, restaurants and the weekly market, we welcome you in a typically Art Nouveau house built in 1906 and fitted out to receive hosts of passage in Brussels. The atmosphere is there peaceful and comfortable. Large rooms are decorated in an actual trendy mood, magnificient bathrooms transport you in the last century.

Phenomenal change vs hotel

Reviewed By TheKot102

Maison Flagey is a small house, privately owned, in a superb surrounding. The owner made efforts to arrange the building work style and taste. And he did terrific job! Instead of another hotel go top this place. You will feel like in a fairytale. Unique arrangements, unique details, home made soap (!) with strong fruity scent. Attention to details. It's not another hotel. It's adventure!
