In short: rather plain and uninspired dishes. And slow service. We came by for dinner, and weâre glad to get a table. The menu had no pizza, but nice sounding fish and meat dishes, and not an overly long menu (which tends to be a good sign). The pasta dishes were boring, and my tagliatelle with prawns were a bland tomato sauce, with two cooked and uncleaned prawns on top. My wifeâs fish was good, but with boring white rice, served on a white plate. Would have been nice with more effort...And the wait: we must have waited 45 minute for the dishes to show up - which is just too long.

We were driving from Tirano to Argegno and needed a break. This was the first lakeside place with parkign that we found. It was in the middle of a very quiet afternoon. The owner could not have been more helpful - assisting my elderly mother-in-law, making sure we had a table with a breeze and a view, and swiftly bringing us the drinks we ordered. We asked her for some owrds in Italian - we're trying to speak it - and she wrote down the words so we could beer understand them. Sorry we cn;t report on the food, but if the cooking is as good as the service, ti is going to be great

We have been there few times to have drinks with lake view, this is a great place with excellent view, very relaxing. The waitress privided always an excellent service. We had pepperoni pizza and it was delicious.

Fantastic food. Delicious. Portions are ginormous and good value. Best food that we have eaten in Italy.Worth the trip from como city to this off road little joint. Simply fantastic food!!!

Good food but nothing spectacular, price/quality not the best we had at lake Como, but still OK.When we were sitting outside at the restaurant, waiter came out to warn us for the rain which was coming. Thanks to that, everybody was seated inside when the rain started.

We found this restaurant following a recommendation on Facebook. The chef/proprietor was previously the chef at the Royal Victoria and we had been impressed with his culinary skills. We were shown to our table in the charming courtyard under plane trees and soft lights. The staff were courteous and friendly and explained the menu knowledgeably and with enthusiasm. The extensive wine list featured many excellent local wines including a stunning Nebbiolo from Mamete Prevostini. My starter was Tagliatelle with Prawns and Wild Mushrooms in a delicate delicious sauce - stunning - and my wife had pasta with lobster and a bisque. Main courses were veal with truffles and pate and my wife chose fish which she declared to be delicious. The portions were ample so we shared a dessert. As the meal ended both chefs visited each table to receive feedback. The food wasnât tasty. The pasta sauces were from supermarket. The fish and the lobster werenât fresh (the lobster was also cold inside). The local fish in the pasta tastes like herring and the sauce was inedible. The waitresses are friendly but the chef ist really rude and donât accept criticism. I will never eat there again and wonât recommend this restaurant.

We really enjoyed our food here, spaghetti with clams, shrimp ravioli plus the main course of Iberian Pig. The quality, the presentation and the taste superb and couldnât be faulted. However the standard of service was poor, truthfully they had insufficient trained staff and as a result we only got 1 of our main meals, the other 3 came 20 mins later. This was acknowledged by the restaurant but clearly it didnât enhance the meal.

Italian healthy and Pret-a-gorumet Restaurant. We serve typical local, Italian, seafood dishes in a comfortable place with a friendly service. Open for lunch and dinner. Sunday closed.

Avendo casa in zona, era da tempo che volevo provare questo locale, e la recensione si limita alla pizza.Lâambiente è elegante e raffinato ed il personale estremamente cortese e professionale.Nel momento in cui chiediamo le pizze, ci è stato risposto che a causa di problemi tecnici, era da una settimana che avevano ripreso a servirle e che per questo motivo non era ancora disponibile il menù pizze ?Purtroppo nessuna delle due pizze ordinate era allâaltezza di quanto proposto negli altri locali della zona.Tuttavia nel rispetto del lavoro altrui , mi ripropongo di ritornare a mangiare in questo locale in un prossimo futuro, per vedere se a regime la qualità cambia.Al momento siamo ben lontani dalle recensioni scritte da altri in precedenza.
