Came for lunch and enjoyed the great location right next to lake and decent food and good service. Dinner was a little less special as same menu no specials, tepid monk fish lacking the va va vroom its outside premises appears to promise. Casual dress, next door to camping site. Would revisit for lunch and maybe give second chance try, maybe more local pizza and pasta, overall it's nice location and ok service just not as special food wise as it looks. Apparently great drinks terrace on roof, so maybe a bit more a couples and young persons place.

We ate here and had a truly fabulous experience , the food wine and views over the lake were all superb! Sylvia is an excellent host and explains the food and wine - all part of the fixed price menu . I let her know when I booked that a vegetarian meal was required and that was sorted ! A lovely family atmosphere - all worth the journey up a very steep hill to get there!

My friend Roberta told me: just order one dish... it's plenty! well, how can you? this is paradise, food heaven, absolute bliss. when you are starved in Australia, this is what you dream about. I had polenta with lardo, followed by ravioli al brasato and then followed by more polenta and wild boar... my partner had every possible vegetariann dish on the menu. to say that this experience will stay with us forever is not enough to do justice to this marvellous restaurant. it's a treasure and I hope it will not change forever. we look forward to the next time and for the time being, we just have to keep dreaming looking at the photos we have taken. Me and my boyfriend have been in the restaurant and the food is great! The Chef is really nice and funny. He made some jokes with me and then he invited us to drink some of his self made Limoncello. It was a really pleasant stay. Thank you so much! I hope I will see you again for some more jokes and more of your awesome pizza!!

We found this restaurant following a recommendation on Facebook. The chef/proprietor was previously the chef at the Royal Victoria and we had been impressed with his culinary skills. We were shown to our table in the charming courtyard under plane trees and soft lights. The staff were courteous and friendly and explained the menu knowledgeably and with enthusiasm. The extensive wine list featured many excellent local wines including a stunning Nebbiolo from Mamete Prevostini. My starter was Tagliatelle with Prawns and Wild Mushrooms in a delicate delicious sauce - stunning - and my wife had pasta with lobster and a bisque. Main courses were veal with truffles and pate and my wife chose fish which she declared to be delicious. The portions were ample so we shared a dessert. As the meal ended both chefs visited each table to receive feedback. went to restaurant for lunch today..we were welcomes by Francesco. there was small language but we got there. quality of food excellent amazing entrecote steak and my husband had lovely pasta dish....hav booked to return next sat when our friend arrives form uk . thank you it was a really lovely lunch mike and barbara

Nothing can beet this site, right at the lakefront. Tucked away from the busy street. The Pizza is yummy and we loved their mixed fried fish - both from the lake and from the sea. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Seafood dishes seemed most popular. We tried the seafood pasta and the sea bass since both were recommended by people we had met in town. The appetizers were very good as was the wine.

We loved stumbling across this restaurant. The staff were so accommodating (we arrived after the official lunchtime serving hour and they adapted the menu to suit us as vegetarians). They clearly take great pride in their food and explained each dish and itâs origins. Weâd definitely go back.
