This was one of the best Italian food I've ever tasted.The restaurant is next to the beach and I had the spaghetti with 'fruit de la mere', or in other words: mussels, clams, langoustine and I think periwinkle. Just eating that and looking at the sea, you knew how fresh and local it had to be.The beer was nice and cold too.Staff was friendly and patient with our poor Italian (although they spoke some English).When we wanted to have an evening meal on Monday night, we were very disappointed to find it closed.I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Liguria!mhaaaa grazie mille, spero possiate tornare presto nella nostra Liguria che sicuramente a ancora molto da offrirvi, sopratutto in cucina !!!!!!!!!!! lo Chef Nicola

They brought my food up to my room that I was renting from them while on vacation because their restaurant was fully booked the night I ate there. The local food from the region is showcased at this restaurant. It is simple but amazingly fresh and delicious. It's a fantastic value and you will not be dissappointed. The restaurant is very clean and elegant. You'll feel at home whether it's a small table or a large group of people. So grab all your friends and have a fun, unrushed night out dining and enjoying each other's company.

The choice on this restaurant followed TripAdvisor review as well as its good appearance. Everything should be good: you can see cooking, familiar athmosphere and so on, but first they don't understand the requirement (no language problem: the italian is my mother tongue) and the starter common for all arrives with a couple of dishes. Last but not least the trofie are not considered pasta so list price and not menu special price. Good potential maybe next year another try.

Pat Pizza was a haven of decency amongst the mass tourist hospitality production line. The food was great and at very reasonable prices. Surprisingly for Italy, there was no additional service fees included. The service itself was very friendly. Definitely a place I would like to visit again.

We were pleasantly surprised by the food in Al Pontile as the restaurant has a minimalist style in terms of decor. The big portion sizes and the flavoursome pasta impressed us so much we returned for dinner a second night during our stay in Ceriale. Great value for money.

This is another restuarant I love going to. As this I visited it 3 time in a week so it really good for its food. But my problem is there is lady who severed us there and has many tattoos. She is just not friendly person. Coz we could not speak the language she just miss understood us. I even had a feeling being not and Italian. One our last day we wanted gave lunch. So we reserved a before . And this time I wrote on paper. But next day she just put us in corner and that feeling that came to me was not good. Ok that one part. But I will not tell you not go there you must coz the food is just awesomely good and for price you pay even good. Dont judge them for they behavior. Coz when I go back to ceriale will surely visit them.

Excellent lunchtime menu and we decided to go all out on the most expensive dish on the menu and it was worth it. The fish was very varied, well cooked and presented and very fresh and tasty.Mind you if you can't serve decent fish when your tables back out on to the beach then it would be a poor show. The waitress was very attentive and our meals arrived promptly and with a smile. The house wine was very palatable and not expensive and the view out over the ocean divine. Being at the end of the season it was good that it was not too crowded but noticeable that it was mainly locals dining. Always a good sign.

The place is simple and located in a nice square of the of the beautiful old town of albenga. We went for dinner and the restaurant was full. We booked in advance and were allocated a table at 5cm from the entrance door. Very unpleasant as each time some one enters, the wind hurts you. We were not yet served and a table in the centre of the restaurant became available. We asked to move and the answer was âno, we are fullâ. What?!? We booked as well and you are forcing us to stay in a freezy table...the food was ok but nothing extraordinary. But once you eat in uncomfortable situations and the attitude is so âLigurianâ...that does not matter. There are so many places around....
