Visited this restaurant with my wife and found the reviews given in the past are by and large very accurate. Could do perhaps with more staff on a busy night and the decor needs sprucing up a notch or two (hence why not 5*) but otherwise the hospitality and food were very acceptable. Recommended.

We visited in September 2019 on at least 4 occasions and had excellent meals every time. Had variations of meals including ribs, steaks, chicken and superb lobster thermidor. Michael and his staff (including Marco and Eric) were absolutely superb and treated us like family friends. We would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent restaurant. See you in September 2020.

The food was excellent however when I presented my Entertainer app the lady at the counter said they are not accepting it any longer. Consequently I wrote to Entertainer, who I must say acted promptly very responsibly and took corrective action in my regard.Dear Customer, I am glad you enjoyed the food. With regards to the Entertainer, we are no longer supposed to be showing up on the app, as we have decided to stop working with the company as of end of September 2019. We apologise if their negligence in removing us from the app may have been of a disappointment at the end of your meal, we have attempted to communicate this issue to the Entertainer on multiple occasions, with no response from their end.We would appreciate if the quality of food and service presented in our small family restaurant, are not overshadowed by the neglectfulness of the Entertainer.Thanks and Regards,Da Rosi Managment

We selected this restaurant because it was close to our hotel but ending by going there 3 times in order to try more food. Kudos to the chef. The team is also very nice in particular the 2 young ladies. The place is very great with a beautiful terrasse. I highly recommend if you in the Qawra area.

We had a very nice dinner at this small and cosy restaurant. The complimentary bruschetta was a nice touch. I had a delicious seafood risotto and my husband had a gorgeous pasta dish. The wine was slightly more expensive than in some of the other places we visited but was very good.

What can I say. This has to be one of the best meals we have ever had. We only discovered this restaurant as we got off the bus at the wrong stop but what a surprise. We shared a starter - jackfish - which was ample for 2 of us, and then both chose beef cheeks for mains. We are still salivating at the memory. It was just phenomenal! Shared a dessert which was also delicious. Lovely ambience and friendly staff combined with amazing food. Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time to visit again before we left as we were only visiting Malta for a short break. If we return this will be our first port of call.

From booking our table with Luqa, to being greeted and catered for. This is not just a place with excellent food, although the food is amazing. This is an experience, the service is excellent, friendly and extremely accommodating. Luqa is an exceptional manager and his obvious professionalism and easy going personality is, in my opinion, why this place has won so many awards. His staff are also very professional and the food and drink is awesome.After having complimentary fresh bread and home made butters, and deconstructed olives, we had scallops and the sea bass ravioli for starters! All excellent.For mains we had the Angus fillet lava grilled steak and the Duck. Wow to both.Thanks again and I shall come here again one day.

Trattoria 'a Lanterna is a must if visiting the Bugibba area.The restaurant and outside seating area have an old world charm that make for a great atmosphere. I dined as a party of four and no one was disappointed in the quality of the food that they received. The service from the waiting staff was fantastic! The bread items and olives that we received upon arrival were as delicious as the main meals. A true, quality Italian!Wow!!! Thank you!!

Popped into this restaurant as it looked lovely from the street. So glad we did. Staff were so friendly and efficient. Food was fresh and cooked to order which makes things a little slower. It was worth waiting for.
