Great place
Reviewed By Paulo SThe hotel is simple but very beautiful. The breakfast is good with cakes, many natural juices and fruits. There's a family of small monkeys (Saguis) which lives in a coconut-tree in the yard, they're a little bit timid but, sometimes come to pick fruits from our hands. The crew is great! The place is very close to the beach and natural pools, so we could walk everywhere.

Stay in the heart of Porto de Galinhas! Pousada La Villa Delle Rose is located in the best location of Porto de Galinhas, just 10m from the natural pools and with just 1 minute walking you will be on the main street of the center, where you will have several options of restaurants, shops, and the famous Rua das parasols. Without a doubt, this is the part of Porto that tourists like the most! All rooms have Wi-Fi, TV, air conditioning, electric shower, minibar and private bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided. We have family rooms available. The inn has a regional breakfast with a good variety served daily. Guests can use the shared lounge, and free rotating parking is available at the property. We are ready to welcome you and your family to enjoy the best of Porto de Galinhas!
Disappointing and offensive
Reviewed By albertobrazilI travel all over the world and I have rarely been so badly treated as I was at that pousada. I called before my arrival and asked in clear Portuguese if they accepted Canadian Dollars. Three times. And 3 times they said yes. I said clearly: it is NOT US$. For my surprise, when we arrived they said they did not accept it. Reasons: 1) they had doubts if my money was legit(!!!) This is highly offensive. Even if you think so, as a host you never say that. At most, you politely refuse( which would be also unaccepted since they guaranteed me they would). The second reason is even more astonishing: they couldn't accept it because " they never go to canada"(?????). Highly unprofessional. These outrageous reasons were stated in from of 2 witnesses. They took my dollars only after they sent someone to the exchange office to check if they accepted. (!!) Once checked in they said we got " the best room at the hotel. ( room #2) i can only imagine how the other ones are! In my room TV reception was horrible, wifi simply did not work ! I asked around and other guests were using there 3/4G since there were no wifi ( jan, 7th, 2016). The explanation of the owner: iPhones din't work properly in Brazil. Funny thing is that I am writing this review at another hotel and it works very well. To wrap up the show of horrors, a person who works at the hotel told me that wifi is indeed terrible and he gives the guest the wifi password from the hotel across the street(!!!!!!) Is this legal? Finally, the stairs to the " best room" are dangerous for elderly and children unattended. Also, the is no disabled access to " the best room". Good points: breakfast is good and the location is very central close to the police station( where I would go if my dollars were not accepted .

Best option to stay in Serrambi if not looking for a resort
Reviewed By Grazy2202Palanca Negra is a brand new basic hotel, located in Serrambi Village. Among existing options, it would be a good choice. Small, clean, confortable, the place offers honesto food and a small swimming pool. Staff is nice and ready to help you. It's not in front of the sea but if you're on the modo to take a little walk, it's OK. Restaurant is open for non guests.
