Lithakia (Greek: Λιθακιά) is a village in the southern part of the island of Zakynthos, Greece. In 2011 its population was 1,307. It is situated at the foot of low hills, about 2 km from the Ionian Sea coast. It is 3 km west of the beach village Laganas, 5 km southeast of Machairado and 9 km southwest of Zakynthos (city). The village suffered great damage from the 1953 Ionian earthquake.

From the outset everyone was welcoming, helpful and service was extremely friendly. The seafood is the highlight, with the octopus tasting fresh and tender. The view of the beach and cool ocean breezes paired with the white wine capped off the best food on the island. I'd give this place a 6/5 if possible. We came back twice in 3 days!

Been coming to this restaurant for years.Excellent food and excellent service.Greek dancing every night.Wonderful views of the bay.Food can be tailor to your needs and requests.Can tailor for one person or a large table of 20 plus.Very friendly staff.Front of house and in the kitchens.Lots of dishes and meals to choose from and great value for money and very clean and tidy.There is a play area for young children to.During the day food and drink can be brought to your sun beds on the beach.

If I could give Bon Appetit more stars I would. I felt so impressed I arrived home today and needed to write a review to share my experience with others maybe looking for a traditional place to eat. Wonderful vegetarian food (I had the vegetarian moussaka..delicious!!) Excellent customer service, very warm, friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend dining at this restaurant, if you are looking for a taste of fresh homemade greek food with a relaxed family feel. Food was very good couldnât fault it, but the waiters didnât know anything about wine, the mythos was flat!, sent it back no apology or no offer of a replacement, no one came to ask if you wanted anymore drinks or a dessert, not the service we were expecting.

The manager was so great and incredible good service. The food was fresh and if you visit Laganas you have to eat here. The food was so tasty and fresh fish, tasty food and really good prices , i will definitely recommend this restaurant.

A bit more fancy place compared to others around. Not a greek cousine, I'd say mediterranean/Italian. I enjoyed a really good and big seafood risotto, a bit salty tough. My companion had seabass and it was tasty but could have had some more spices. There were also some bones in it. Service was great and the athmosphere is made for a romantic dinner. Worth visiting.

We have visited Laganas 3 times now and each visit have eaten in Sizzlebang. The food has always been cooked to perfection and staff always friendly with excellent sense of humour. Gorgeous food, complimented by a gorgeous hostess. The family are a credit to the island. Highly recommended.
