Open for Winter Season!
Wonderful food to be found at this charming restaurant where we celebrated a birthday on a recent Saturday night. The menu is well done and small in choice which ensures a fine dining experience, and did not disappoint.Start with some wonderful small plates to be shared by the table, we had the crepes (our favorite), the Thai salad and shrimp skewer - all delicious with a beautiful presentation. I should add the fresh braked bread and olives which are served complimentary, are fantastic! We had seconds on those! (We came hungry).
Main courses included the roast lamb chops, trout, salmon, roasted chicken breast, filet mignon and veal tenderloin. Each plate served to perfection. We were all more than satisfied - FULL would be the word. Highly recommended. Oh, and a lovely and thoughtful touch was a piece of delicious key lime pie for the birthday celebrant!

I didn't have much time to eat on the day that I stopped in to the Tamarack, so I asked them if they could have a BLT ready for me within five minutes, and they said yes. Well, they didn't have it ready in quite five minutes, but they didn't miss by much. It was a good lunch, and they got me on my way as promised. Very crowded, but good for a sandwich.

Dependably great food and service at this rustic landmark. We've been coming here and never disappointed. The Pasta Primavera was fabulous with lots of excellent vegetables and unique pasta. The Panko chicken was perfect, with a great sauce and perfectly cooked cauliflower. The physical structure is showing it's age, but the view is nice. Highly recommended for a great meal in a traditional and off the beaten path meal.

There is usually a line, and a first and last stop when visiting Inlet. Everyone has his other favorites. Doughnuts, fry-cakes, Danish streusel and an ifamious nfection with cream cheese and cinnamon layered on a sweet bread. Joel the server and his quirky sense of humor is worth the visit. Homage loaves of bread are also available. Come early.

Coming from Long Island NY who would think an Italian Restaurant named Billy's would be tops in our book. Nice atmosphere, food is great and Billy makes it a point to visit every table. We've been here in the past and will continue to visit whenever we are in Old Forge.

Hasn't been Kirsty's Red Dog Tavern for quite a while but the menu is as good as ever: great core menu and taste-bud popping specials, PLUS: this is still the best Friday night fish fry around. Or have the fish baked lemon-garlic... or cajun. Any way they do it, this is NOT the cheap fish covered with breading that has to be hidden to sell it. This is awesome, fresh haddock and nowhere else in the area is there even a close second place competitor. And that's before we talk about fresh, made-to-order quesadillas ... a nacho platter that would serve a whole family.. and babyback ribs that melt off the bones. Did I mention the prime rib...? Check it out, you want to come early or plan a long wait for one of the tables in the dining room.

The Northern Lights Creamery is right in the center of the charming little town of Inlet. It's a popular spot that offers ice cream (both hard and soft) and gelato in a variety of sizes. The employees that I encountered were friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my coconut cream gelato and would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

Historic Lakeside Dinning Location, enjoy dinner and then watch the sunset from our wrap around porch. During the summer months you can enjoy lunch out on the dock. A hot buffet breakfast can be found inside the Inn most weekends and seven days a week during the summer.
A horrible experience - on Sunday we go to try the new lakeside cafe for lunch. First we go to the 'order tent' and there's nobody there. When the harried waitress shows up, she takes the orders and tells us they'll be delivered - the...MoreI'm sorry you had a bad experience at the cafe this past Sunday. We will work hard to address your concerns so that we can exceed your expectations going forward. Thank you for your feedback.
