We actually went here for dinner to try Abreo out to see if we wanted our wedding catered by them. Between the so-so food and having to chase down the person that provided quotes for catering, it just wasn't worth it.

We have been to 5 Forks several times over the last few months - we keep returning due to great food and good service. Innovative dishes, extensive liquor list and reasonable prices are some of the reasons. Not a huge menu, but as stated, innovative...and always good.

Previous experiences were favorable, not the case this time. Service was very slow for a week night, they didnât appear to be very busy either. The lettuce in our salads was borderline to serve, presentation was good though. The Jungle Jimâs Jumbalaya was a big disappointment though, it looked and tasted like they pulled it from the freezer (on the plate) and microwaved it to serve. Doubt we will be back to try anything else.

Great to return and find some new draft beers and no change in the fabulous bouillabaisse. Friendly staff great wine with a 50% discount monday night for a bottle. The steaks and salads were great and I recommend a visit if your in town.Thank you for the wonderful review! Our bouillabaisse is one of our staples and we are happy to hear you enjoy it so much. I was in the area on business and we were told that this restaurant was very good so we decided to try it and I am glad I did because it was awesome! Iâm from the east coast so Iâve never had a bison burger so I decided to try one. The bison burger was phenomenal!! Iâve been wasting my time on beef all these years and I could have been eating bison! All of my coworkers loved their meals. The cocktails are also to die for! We were there for lunch so I only had 1 drink but it was delicious and everyone at my table raved about their cocktails. I would love to visit again and try more items on the menu. Husband and I were in Rockford to meet a friend. We had never been in the city. We tried the restaurant because it was near where we were staying, but went back the next night for a second meal there because it's so good. We had Chicken Marsala that was excellent with highest grade chicken and sauce. The next night I had Chicken Carbonara and Hubs had a flatbread. Our service was great on both nights. The restaurant seems to stay very busy even through the week. Highly recommend this very good place. I can't imagine anyone really being disappointed with what they're served.

Stockholm Inn is somewhat of a local landmark, famous for its Swedish food and culture. The blue and yellow themed interior is filled with Swedish symbols and memorabilia. Stopped in for dinner with friends. Service was the best part of the meal. Food was acceptable but not noteworthy. Had the fried brussels sprouts, cheese curds (tasty), and charcuterie plate (really enjoyed the pastrami and salami) for appetizers. Tried the roast beef sandwich special for the main course and the brown butter apple tart for dessert. Think the tart would have been better if served warm/hot instead of cold. Thought the meal was pricy for what you got. The music was way too loud for easy conversation with five people at the table. Would try another restaurant in the downtown area before going back.
