Pour dîner, terrasse calme et agréable, service un peu lent, nous avions pris une assiette de beignets à partager en entrée puis chacun un plat d'agneau, le viande manquait un peu de cuisson les sauces curry correct les nans fromage étaient bon.Petit restaurant sympa... dommage que la cuisine manque d'un petit je ne sais quoi.

Starting on a positive note, the service here is quite good, very friendly and welcoming, a little drink is offered on arrival ( nice but also common practice). The restaurant albeit small is well decorated and cosy in the winter time, a little away from the main centre of La Varenne, it's calm and easy to park. The food however, is disappointing, sometimes it's nice and fresh with great flavours and sometimes it's really not with cheap fatty cuts of meat and so so sauces. They really need to make their cooking more consistent if they want their clients to keep going back and back. Just to give a little example, my father ordered monkfish as a starter and instead came salmon with no "oh I'm sorry Sir" just a roll of the eyes and quite a cheeky attitude, something that I really cannot stand from waiters. Little things but when they mount up you realise that you really paid over the odds for a meal that you could frankly cook much better at home with a cookbook

Really a pity that not even a single dish we can finish. Quantity is really good, staffs are extremely nice, decor is good but the food is PATHETIC. No taste at all and we were really disappointed.

Starting from the deco that is very nice and in theme with the idea of Indian restaurant. Servers are also dressed with typical Indian clothing.When We arrived We were ordered a small aperitif and appetizer.We ordered 2 cheese nems, a mixed grilled entree a butter chicken and a chicken with almonds which I found a bit heavy on the side of the cream.All plates well presented and good portions. The mixed grill very good.We also ordered 2 ice creamsIncluding 2 beers and a coke 60â¬I put 3/5 because I did not find the place my standard of clean. Dirty table cloth even in some parts of the floor dirty.
