I ordered "burnt ends" and some potato salad. I got a few pieces of unfavorable fat. I have had BBQ in Texas and this place wouldn't know a burn end if it slapped them in the face. It was served in a tiny paper box and I had to cut half off because of the fat. Also, I had to keep adding their bland homemade BBQ sauce to get any flavor at all. The place is not cheap. Had a soft drink and was not offered a refill (not indicated on menu). I will not be going back.

Had driven down to see a movie and stopped at this place as it was nearby...only one client there..I placed an order to go, 1/2 rack of ribs, bbq beans and coleslaw. This was 19.56, wow expensive. The ribs were alright, tender but not very smoky. The beans were the best part of the meal. The coleslaw dressing was unusual and not to my liking. Overall okay place but not worth the price....Same meal in Moscow is 2.00 cheaper. (CD’s bbq)

i was at RiverPort Brewing enjoying a great beer and asked "what's for dinner"? they recommended the BBQ shack in the same parking lot. i figured why not and gave it a try. this place is awesome. The owner really knows his meat and how to smoke it. The Tri-Tip was melt in your mouth. I chose a blackened Prime Rib. I could cut the meat with plastic dinnerware. The meat was fantastic; some of the best I have had. The beans were weak and I brought this to the owners attention, he said it was time to change them and he would use my ideas. In my opinion, the pricing is low (for what you get). this place should be on everyone's "must try" list
