We stopped in for lunch on our drive from Elko, NV up to West Yellowstone, WY. Since they were located right next to the Costco made it an easy choice. Fuel the car at Costco then fuel ourselves. Service was good and pretty quick. Food was as expected. I had a sandwich they girls had some surf and turf. No complaints from anyone was heard. I've had bad experiences with other locations of this place but the Pocatello location made up for past encounters. This one I would return to, the others, well...not so much. Aside from all that it was an average dining experience and very slow for and early Monday afternoon. Parking is was sufficient as we found a spot right up front. It was pretty cool inside too. Nice to me since outside was over 90 as I recall.

My friends and I came here on a weeknight. The beer was cold; nice after a very long workday. I kept smelling something like cigarette smoke, but since the place offers food, I assumed I was wrong. We ordered burgers, which were very good, but the fries were nothing special. I'd heard the burgers were so good; I expected the fries to be more homemade, so that was disappointing. Then, it happened. Three men a few tables over lit up and smoked the entire time we were eating. It was DISGUSTING. Had a very difficult time getting the attention of the waitstaff for our check and I really needed to get out of there. Had I known smoking was allowed, I'd not have walked in the door. The food was good enough for a return, but I will not eat in a restaurant that allows smoking.

Decided on Sand Trap after seeing their van parked at a Pokey trailhead during a recent visit. Reasonably priced burgers (huge), best tater tots ever and the Greek Salad was unlike any I'd ever had (loved the dressing). Plus we found out they are strong supporters of the community. Gotta love that. I'd give it a 5 star, but the service was a little slow (well worth the wait). We'll be back.

The owner and other local patrons were super friendly and helpful to us, as tourists. The food is typical pub-grub, but good quality. We had a quesadilla, and would recommend. We'll be back! Don't let the outside fool you, it's a nice little place with a homey, bar type atmosphere. Pool tables also.

Dive restaurant. If you aren't a fan of the dive then don't go. Great bread on burgers and sandwiches. Good sandwiches. Great fries. Great salads. Nice place to stop and watch sports while traveling, dozens of TVs. Great air conditioning. This was our 4th visit. Never been disappointed.

While staying in Pocatello, ID I chose to have a quick dinner at Wingers restaurant. I had never been to a Wingers and did not realize that it was a western states chain restaurant. The servers were all friendly and helpful throughout the meal. Wingers “hook” is the bowl of fresh popcorn they bring to your table when you are seated. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and asked for extra crispy fries. I didn’t know their fries were the “big fat ones” jo-jo style and so, even though they were supposedly cooked extra long per my request, they were still super soft and not crunchy at all. The cheeseburger was just average and heavily overcooked. I was not impressed with the food at Wingers. My meal cost $15. I give their popcorn and service a 4, there food as a 3. Overall, I rate Wingers in Pocatello, ID as a 3.Thank you for your honest feedback. This will be really useful as we continue to get even better. We hope we'll see you again soon!

upon arrival hostess Ashley greeted us, she was polite professional and accurate on giving us a seating time(25 minutes). Taking my mom to a mothers day dinner on Saturday since I live out of town we choose this place because the décor was unique and had pizza, I like to review pizza places. While waiting I realized that they had a picture with wording explaining the place. I was positioned above the waiting area seats so I stood to read it and me being 6'1" with 20/20 vision could not read the fine print, very pointless. Realizing my crotch is eye level with people sitting there, my parents, I decided to sit down. During our wait we had plenty of time to look over the menu and make our choices for what to order when we got to our table. A guy who was calling people to sit you couldn't hear and I had to translate to people how many were in the party he called out for. Finally when we were call the Hostess named Lupita called for our group and she was very polite and professional and you could understand her. She verified that the seat she was seating us at was okay and we confirmed. So we are at about 25 minutes now and know what we want and a very hungry. We sat for about 7 minutes before our server even came to the table, by now the dinner rush had dissolved and there were plenty of empty tables, so why so long? When she came we said we were ready to order also. She got our drink order of me and my wife for teas, my mom just wanted water and dad wanted a glass of wine. About another 5-10 minutes later me, my wife and mother got our drinks. while waiting for the drink me and dad talked about how and why I tip the way I do, on the service I receive. and my wife and mom used the restroom. The explanation for the wine taking so long was that they had to open a new bottle. After the waitress left I said they must've had someone run to the store to grab a bottle. So about 40 minutes after arriving my dad received his wine. Now we sit and talk for about 15 minutes and the waitress brigs us plates. These plates Must be for our order of Pizza which usually means the food should arrive soon. Now to let you know that we order a small mackenzie and a large fresh tomato basil to share, my mother ordered a caeser salad with anchovies, dad order sliders, my wife order lemon rosemary chicked and I got the blue onion bbq. Now that we have plates for the pizza my mother asked if the rest of us can have glasses of water. She brought water for those of us that wanted some and waited about 10 minutes when they brought my wifes pasta?. The should be the most complicated thing arrives first, shortly after my burger and dads sliders arrive. We ask about the salad, the most simple item, and she says they are backed up on the salads. We all are shocked, BACKED UP ON SALADS?, I can walk a five year old through making a caeser salad while working on a car!! So now we are at about 1 hour and 10 minutes not during a rush time. The rest of us start to eat, I bite into a burger that should be full of flavor and it taste like nothing and is dry. I see the other toppings are by the fries so I add them and take a second bite all I taste is pickle this time. I try the fries that were okay but decide I can't eat this... This is a first for me since I can usually eat food I don't like but I could not eat this. so after 5 minutes she brings my moms salad and I tell her that the burger is the worst thing I have eaten and con not eat it, I gave it back to her and said I hope the pizza is good. My dads sliders were dry and gross also, he only at one. The pizza came and all hope was lost after we tried it, the toppings were okay but the crust was some sort of pre bought bread that wasn't cooked properly and was glueish under the toppings. We let the management know how horrible everything was and that we would never come back. Our meal of what we ordered full cost was around 80 dollars, I could get better service and better quality food from other restaurants close by. Not worth the money or quality and like I have said this was a first that I actually had to refuse the food and send it back due to the quality. This place should not be in business and should close down but one of the good restaurants should go hire the hostesses and use their great service.

While passing through town we enjoyed a delightful Saturday lunch here. The décor is post-industrial and a bit dark. Both my sandwich and my wife's salad were tasty and well made. The bread is apparently house-made from spent brewery grains. I enjoyed the well-balanced Belligerent Ass brown ale - which I had to have because of what some say is a passing resemblance. Our server was very personable, but perhaps a bit less prompt. Prices seemed reasonable.
