The place is very quaint, but the food is some of the best BBQ we've had. We tried it all, ribs, brisket, ham, Turkey, pulled pork, and 2 types of sausages. Everything was really good, but my favorite was the brisket and Turkey. They make their sauce which had a sweetness and was very tasty. Served with Texas toast and a small salad bar including baked beans. The people working there were real welcoming and friendly. You must go!

My mom and I stopped at the Metropolitan Coffee Shop after visiting the Cosmosphere. I had a latte and mom had a mocha. One of the best lattes ever! The mocha was great too. We had their quiche too and it was very good.Just realized that we hadn't responded to you! So glad that you followed up a trip to the Cosmosphere with us. We hope we contributed to a fun time in Hutch!

Arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy. We didn’t have a reservation, but were seated immediately. We had toasted ravioli, lasagne, stuffed chicken breast, Caesar salad, and cheesecake topped with strawberries and white chocolate. Everything was delicious and the service was great. Best meal I’ve had in quite a while.

I stopped in for a cappuccino recently. I learned that Carmel cappuccino is Italian for fake flavored sugar with a hint of coffee. I think this restaurant is really more of a diner so I'm not sure why they are listed as a coffee and tea house. The to-go cups are styrofoam soda cups with plastic lids.
The staff was friendly and the food sounded good so I'll probably be back...just not for coffee.

It is all inclusive in one affordable buffet price. We also have an itemized menu for those who prefer just a portion of all these choices. We also serve Gluten free pizzas upon request. A large buffet and when you come in and pay they ask if there is a kind of pizza you would like put on the bar. When we were there, they had a lot of different kinds of combination, some seemed kind of odd. Not many pepperoni or meat pizzas or main stream type pizzas on the buffet. I will probably not go back.

We stopped in after dinner for some dessert. They have 101 shake flavors which makes deciding a bit difficult. The shake prices start at $3.09 for a small size and go up depending on how many flavors you add. The shakes were thick. We ordered a chocolate banana and a plain chocolate shake. They were good, but not the best we've ever had.

The BBQ was good and was served lots of it. Everything was hot and fresh. Not at all greasy. Be sure to go on Tuesday afternoon/evening for the all you can eat ribs. This place is worth going back to.

My husband and I arrived in Hutchinson around 8 pm and fortunately found our way to Skaets. Although they close at 9, they welcomed us as though we were family, and the food was absolutely delicious. If we lived closer, we would eat there frequently!

The Olive Garden restaurant has all of the consistency you want from a chain, yet as expected, lacks uniqueness and personality. Their salads are fresh and tasty for sure! We buy Olive Garden salad dressing for everyday use, being a big fan of its flavor and consistency. This particular restaurant is convenient, friendly and clean. The breadsticks and entree’s are adequate.
