Lotus Resort has a well furnished 12 suites embedded with all the modern facilities and yet traditional in all ways. Reviewed By Rijuta TI stayed here with my friends in July for one night. However I absolutely loved my stay here. I wish I had stayed longer. I loved the view, the ambience, the service, the staff and the food. The rooms were warm, spacious and had tasteful interiors. The dinner buffet was so yummy and we were provided with unlimited refills. The little stream running through the property was wonderful. All in all a great stay.

They grow their own organic vegetables. Loved our stay there. There is open outdoor space to sit in the sun and enjoy nature.

It is a fusion of modern and traditional architecture with a view that’ll blow your mind .The managing staff is hard working and very responsive to your need. The manager personally was very friendly.Would surely recommend it to my friends and family. P.s one needs to keep in mind that ladakh is a remote and a difficult place and nubra even more ,so come with an open mind, not everything will be available according to your needs as it is not a city but trust me it’s worth it .

Reviewed By OnGlobeLoved the place. Lovely garden to sit and relax in sun. Very spacious rooms with each room having a balcony as well as separate sit-out area. Best part in room was continuously running hot water. In whole Ladakh trip, perhaps we had our best shower in this place :-) Staff is very courteous and service is very good. We reached hotel at around 8.30 pm. Running hot water was not available at that time. But, we badly needed it having been in dust storm earlier in day. On our request, manager immediately, released hot water from storage. Food was very good. Both dinner and breakfast had good choices and homely taste. They don't provide electric kettle in room which is the only thing we found odd. But, that didn't turn out to be an issue because they provide hot water for drinking, in kettle, on request.

Reviewed By 359himadribOlgok Guest House, has two categories of room as follows 1. View Room: Rooms are at 1st floor. These rooms are spacious with balcony. Amenities are better. Hot water is available 2. Standard room: Rooms are at ground floor. These rooms are small, no view, dirty linen, carpet. We booked our room through one of the travel site where only option for Standard room was available. We booked the same and quite disappointed with the facility. Rooms were shabby, water is licking from the commode at toilet We reached the hotel around 18:00 and asked for hot water. At that time, they informed hot water is available only from 6:00~10:00 a.m. Next day morning when we went to take shower, at that time we found that hot water is not coming. Staffs told us to take shower in one of the available view room. Without much option, we had to go for that one. Staffs are energetic but not trained enough. Overall it seems overpriced with respect to quality. Next day we find much better room in nearby hotel with almost same cost. If you can book view room, you can go for it. Otherwise, avoid this hotel if you are travelling with family

A Cozy Stay with Family

The cottages are located in the lap of nature….amidst the birds which keeps chirping on and off. We loved the warmth of the courteous staff who were ready to help at any point in time. Plus: The food is really good. They customize your food if requested. Sumptuous meals. They provide 2 hot water bags at bedtime to keep you warm under the blankets. Drawbacks: Hot water is available only for limited 2 hrs (7 am to 8:30 am and 7pm to 8:30 pm). The dogs keep barking on certain nights which can cause sleep disturbance.

A superb place to stay in Nubra Valley
Reviewed By AmeyaK59I can't really pick a fault with this place. The rooms are clean and spacious as is the bathroom. The setting is verdant and peaceful, with several flowering plants and tall trees in the garden. The views of the Himalayas from the room are sublime. The food was simple but delicious. I would recommend staying here for a night or two, depending on your travel plans.

The rooms are quite cosy and neat with bed, cots, tv, a table and 2 chairs with hot water amenities (but it wasnt available when we visited, but the managament ppl made some alternative arrangement for the same). wifi is good, food is tasty and good. the view from the balcony isnt that great. overall a decent hotel for a decent budget.

horrible stay
Reviewed By sureshinuaethe shangrila camp in nubra valley is one of the worst ever. its coincidentally also the farthest in the camping area. we had rain the evening we stayed there and water started to leak thru the roof corners of the tent. has to huddle all our belongings including the bed into the centre to escape the water. food was mediocre and facilities none. the care taker is hassled having to handle many grumpy guests. no hot water in very cold temparature and no power all thru the day. power only comes between 6 to 11 pm and that too intermittently..... terrible experience.
