Cute little restaurant right in the main square. Really clean bathrooms and nice atmosphere. Ordered a Peruvian burger...not the best idea. About half way through I couldn't tell the texture between the guacamole and beef patty. Haha it was kind of gross. However, the manager was nice and gave us some choc. Cake (a bit dry) but still charged me Full price for my burger....anyways I wouldn't recommend it. Cafe Andino is down the street and AWESOME!

Coffee and food, caters to tourists as many places here do. Nice place, my wife loved the bluegrass music they were playing.
It would be the perfect place if I was homesick and wanted something closer to what I’d find at home.
Everything was fine, nothing exceptional, all good though.

Catering to tourists as many places here do, there was good help if you need it with the language and lots of board games.
My friends and I found fancier food and coffee elsewhere in Peru but here we found a place to stay and play games, hang out, enjoy ourselves and recuperate from our travels. If that sounds good I highly recommend it. I liked the carrot cake they served and simple bread and butter was delicious as well. Coffee was the best I had in town.

I went to Creperie Patrick one night to treat myself because it is rather expensive and I wouldn't be able to go regularly. After looking over the menu I picked one of their basic crepes, with mushrooms, cheese, beef, etc. The service was pretty average, they brought out my meal in a decent amount of time. My crepe was pretty decent, but it got really soggy and messy after about 4 minutes. I wasn't all that impressed by it, especially compared to crepes I have had elsewhere. For dessert I got one of their sweeter crepes, which was definitely good. It was very rich and I found myself scraping the plate to get the extra chocolate. I never went back after the first time because I didn't think it was worth the price I paid, but maybe some of their other dishes are better. If you have some cash to burn and want to gamble on some dinner then Creperie Patrick is your spot. If you want a dessert that's a little bit more fancy and rich, it is also a good spot. I wanted to give two stars because I thought the value was pretty weak, but the food wasn't bad and I actually really enjoyed dessert.

After a long overnight bus ride and some morning sightseeing, we stopped here for lunch. Very popular with locals (always a good sign). I was desperate for some comfort food, a soup. I ordered llunca con gallina, amazing!! One of the most delicious soups I've tried. My husband had fried trout, which was delicious too. Days later we returned for dinner, I had pollo a la brasa and my husband, lomito saltado, all good.
They seem to cater for large groups, families. Also have a set menu for lunch, popular with working locals.
Good, fast, friendly service in a large, plenty of tables area.

We went there to share one pizza for two and asked different toppings for each half of the pizza. They charged 26 soles for half pizza (52 the pizza) which is completely overpriced for Huaraz. Even though the pizza was good, it doesn't justify its price. Better go to El Horno, the pizza is MUCH cheaper and is as good!

After travelling through Ecuador by the time I arrived in Huaraz I was needing a break from local food and Chili Love had a delicious Thai Green Curry to suit my appetite. Really cute restaurant and delicious food. Service so-so but totally worth it for the food!

Trivio is a very nice casual dining spot for lunch or dinner off of Park Periodista, 3 short blocks north of the Plaza de Armas. Very friendly staff with great service. Interesting menu. The Andean soup was very good (full of flavor) and the shrimp fettuccini was excellent. We liked it so much that we returned for another meal.
Drinking water is free to fill your water bottle, something that is very rare in Peru.

We stopped here for a drink and light snack one afternoon while walking around Huaraz. Beers were excellent but the fried potatoes really made our day. Of course you can't beat the potatoes in Peru on any given day but these were more special than special. If for nothing else go there to enjoy their fries!
