The food presentation and quality of food was excellent,good wines,a very beautiful garden for outdoor Seating... I can only recommend this restaurant to all future patrons.

Cafe Chili is right off the old market square and just to place to dodge into for a coffee. Not a lot of room, which only makes it seem more special. The owner has come up with fabulous coffee combinations you wouldn't expect. Coffee with a bite of chili pepper. Not everything is spicy, but everything is special.

A Fantastic find, following a recommendation we booked a table here and had a fantastic night. Pre dinner drinks outside, after which we took our table upstairs, the place was packed, service very good and a really good wine selection. The meat all cooked in view was all excellent. Service relaxed but great. The place has lots of atmosphere and I couldn't fault the overall experience.

We were looking for something out of the Kaiserslautern area to get away from the loud obnoxious Americans with their loud obnoxious undisciplined children and decided to make the short drive to Homburg. After checking TripAdvisor (of course), we decided on Portofino.
The restaurant sits on a main street with many other restaurants and shops. There are plenty of places to park and large lots close by.
The pizza was very good and worth the drive. There was plenty of cheese and was very tasty. My wife got the regular size and I got the large. Not much difference and they had the same amount of toppings.
As always, we start with the Caprese salad. Average. For a large salad to split between two people it could of been a bit larger. The bread they brought with the salad was very good and the spicy olive oil was REALLY good.
There is outdoor Seating, but it is on the sidewalk next to the street. We had to listen to motorcycles being revved to max RPM every 5 minutes. Not the restaurants fault, but does detract from sitting outside.
Service was typical and average for Germany and prices were average for the area.

We had a nice family lunch here after visiting the Schlossbergholen. It's a fairly large place at one end of a pedestrian area, with a nice patio out front. The staff was very friendly and patient with my German, but fluent in English when that failed me. They had a wide range of German favorites, including a good kids menu. The grillteller was great, as we're the schnitzels and the schweinsteak. Lucky for us, hey were open on Sunday afternoon! Would definitely go back.

What a great restaurant! Our German is poor, but they made a special effort to make us feel welcome and explained the current specials even if they had to use a google translator. The menu had both German and English. Some of the best food we have had while here.

If you find yourself passing by and feel the need for a reasonably priced fantastic meal, truly German experience, this is the place to go and eat in Homburg.
The Brauhaus is located inside a shopping mall with a fantastic Terrace and a good view of a great parking lot which is free.... after 5PM. This is a rare thing. You can eat inside or outside.
The good:
- food is low priced and of excellent quality
- staff is friendly and they are very quick
- Beer is fantastic, try the house brew - some of the best I have ever had.
- Decor is sensational inside if you are a beer lover
- Very nice people and atmosphere
- You can actually find a spot even at rush hour
The not so good
- outside the stairs to the Terrace are not that good
- Terrace furniture is a bit 'tired'
