Cute little coffee house, locally owned and family run! Home made sweet treats, coffee ice cubes...what a great touch. For the life of me, I can't figure out why Dunkin has any customers left! ☕️?☕️

My wife is a native New Englander and as such is quite fussy about her clams. She only wants whole fried clams. West Boylston Seafood delivers a generous portion in a no frills environment. Cole slaw was also quite good. The Madam was pleased.

Gerardo's Italian Bakery

Reviewed By ChefCass

Met a great Italian gentleman here last week who summed it up in one line...."Give me one of everything...and a cuppa coffee!"

You walk in this lovely facility and the amazing scents make it hard to leave! The sparkling display cases feature an amazing array of every Italian treat you could dream of.

The Mini Cannoli come in a variety of flavors. My favorite is the pistachio. There are lemon squares, frosted anise cookies, hermit bars that are loaded with the perfect balance of the most fragrant spices, and the loveliest selection of hand-detailed wedding cakes. An awesome Batman birthday cake for some lucky lil guy was on its way out the door while we were there.

Don't forget to grab a stack of anise pizzelle for breakfast with coffee tomorrow and maybe an extra one for the road if you're traveling.

Make sure to drop by if you've had lunch at West Boylston Seafood or Ollies next door!!

Ciao y'all!!

Sonoma

Reviewed By Dhanan - Massachusetts

Sonoma is in a strip commercial building that does not hint of the excellence that is awaiting one inside.

Sonoma is a nice, comfortable place with excellent food, service and wine offering. The short menu along with the daily specials is a sign that everything is freshly made on the premises. We loved our salad, the entrees' , the vegetables accompanying the meals and the desert. Everything was well done and tastefully presented. The waitstaff was first rate.

We would have said that we'd love to go back. However the restaurant is closing in it's current location and is reopening in Worcester at the Beachwood hotel with supposedly a new menu. We'll have to wait and see .....

While the drive-through is fast and the food is good, there is little chance that the workers will cater to your meal preparation requests. The words "toasted dark" and "a little bit of butter" seem to be missing from the Dunkin' Donuts' vocabulary.

Friendlys had been a New England tradition. Your experience will of course vary with the individual restaurant. This particular Friendlys in Holden MA has been through many changes. On my most recent visit, I noticed the menu had been greatly changed, fewer choices. If you are considered a senior they will give you a discount. Has some nice meals but is expensive at lunch time compared to other nearby restaurants that are able to offer lunch specials. Friendlys does not offer lunch specials as far as I know. The service is friendly. Keep in mind there can be a wait at this Friendlys if you go on a Fri or Sat night during dinner time. The food was good, the atmosphere is homey and fun. They allowed me to order a kids meal even though I'm an adult, which is new. Allowing adults to order kids meals would depend upon the restaurant and could change, policy has changed several times. I like to order a kids meal because I save money and get plenty of delicious food. Breakfast is nice here too.
