Appalling staff but high quality accommodation. Basically an air bnb.
Reviewed By dewbyUpfront. Avoid this place. The Glemm is a new hotel (it’s not really a hotel) it has a prime place and looks impressive from outside. These impressions continue inside. High quality fittings and great views of the valley. The suites are practical but the bathrooms are tiny. If you use the sink you have to close the door and if someone enters you will be knocked by the door. The sauna in the bathroom is a neat feature. Beds are comfy and the views again are a highlight. The pool is small to medium size but nice although if the hotel is busy this could be a pain. A very nice sauna area also is connected to the spa area. This however is not the problem. It’s the staff. Oh my I have never came across such rude, arrogant unfriendly staff ever. Motivation is clearly a massive issue. The staff give you an impression they do not enjoy what they do. It started on arrival. There are zero concierge services. No help with bags or even a fretting despite 4 people sat around the check in area. Not even a hello. The lady that checked me in was probably the most polite staff member I came across. After that it went down hill rapidly. The hotel has a complex design so you would think a guide to the room would happen. Nope and certainly no help with luggage. You are on your own here. The breakfast room is a real area this hotel requires some leadership. The staff will make you feel depressed and the negative feeling is clear to be seen. Asking for anything is dismissed with a rolling of the eyes and a why are you bothering me look. Really really bad and made me feel very uncomfortable. Flies at breakfast is also a problem. This surprised me. A hotel is not just a building. It is about hospitality and this place has zero. To sum it up as a guest it feels like you are treated as an unfortunate inconvenience. You may as well find an Airbnb. I would suggest you look at the thomsn alpine rock hotel. I had dinner there and the vibe is much more advanced sophisticated and guest friendly. The investment group that paid for this place should seek a new staffing agency as soon as possible. It will effect ROI. Lastly, There is no leadership/management presence so I assume the above problems will prevail.

Reviewed By Alex_SchurrHeidis Landhaus liegt in Hinterglemm in bester Lage - von hier aus kann man bequem zu Fuß im Winter zur Westgipfel- und Unterschwarzachgondel (3 Minuten), zur Zwölferkogelbahn (7 Minuten) oder zur Reiterkogelbahn (10 Minuten) laufen, sodass man den Skitag täglich anders beginnen kann. Außerdem liegt die Flutlichtpiste direkt vor der Haustür, und zahlreiche Restaurants sind ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Umgebung! Die Pension bietet vor dem Haus Parkplätze. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet mit Bett, Tisch und Sofa sowie einem Fernseher. Das Badezimmer ist ebenfalls modern und sehr sauber - WLAN funktioniert im Haus bestens! Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und kann sogar etwas früher eingenommen werden, wenn man den Frühstart im Winter an einigen Bahnen in Anspruch nehmen möchte! Kurzum - immer wieder gerne!

When you say Hinterglemm, you say Schwarzacher, Tanzhimmel and Apres-Ski-Paleis, the names that inseparably combine to the Golden Triangle of Austria's number 1 home of winter sports. A stone-throw away from either lies Apart-Pension Kendler (not to be confused with the luxury hotel in Saalbach), a quiet family-run hotel that serves all your needs. Start the day with classic Semmel or keep up your food-freak-habits from back home and combine the wealth of nuts, oats and (dried) fruits with yoghurt to tailor your own bowl of breakfast. Come back after an exhausting, but equally rewarding, day on the slopes and lie down in the sauna that fits 3-5 persons to prepare for dinner in town. After your done hitting the highs and lows of Hinterglemm's varied disco-offering, you'll be pleased you can crawl back to bed within seconds. Lost your coat somewhere? Probably not, as you can just leave it in your room with everything less than a minute walk away... In late-high to early-low season the place tends to be frequented by on- and off-slope heroes.

Beste lokatie van heel hinterglemm
Reviewed By kristeldehaasWittenius heeft ongeveer de beste ligging van heel hinterglemm. Het ligt direct aan de piste en skiweide waar veel gebeurt (avondskien, skischolen). En je bent zo in het centrum. Appartementen zijn wel wat oudbollig maar dat heeft ook wel zijn charme. Ik ben hier zeker 15 keer geweest toen het nog volledig gerund werd door familie Kurt en Wilma Wittenius, hele lieve mensen. Helaas door wijzigingen in het runnen van de appartementen was mijn laatste boeking kwijtgeraakt (en Ze kwamen niet met een oplossing) en de prijzen zijn sindsdien flink omhoog gegaan (verdubbeld). Je kon altijd broodjes bestellen zodat die s ochtend voor je klaar stonden. Ik weet niet of die service er nog is. Zwembad is simpel en was altijd redelijk koud. Maar mijn kinderen hadden altijd toch even lol er in. Tip: - neem sloffen mee, want je mag niet met natte schoenen door het complex. - Appartement 5 was mijn favoriet (met erker met uitzicht over zwolfer) - je moet een stukje omhoog rijden, dus je kan de laatste honderd meter sneeuwkettingen nodig hebben.
