FINALLY took time to stop and eat at this small unassuming BBQ joint. It's only open a few days a week so check before you go.

Food is really good and servings are plentiful. We had pulled pork, Brunswick stew, slaw, and BBQ beans. No complaints at all!

Prices are pretty typical for what you get.

Service was not as good as I would have thought for such a nice restaurant. Food was okay. Kind of expensive for lunch menu.

Really wish this place wasn't in a grocery store.... it would be much better to actually have a coffee shop in town. Average Starbucks. Staff is always friendly.

We started with complimentary warm chips and salsa. Hubby had Fajitas Vaquero, 2 taco-size shells and tons of filling( snack for later). Steak, shrimp, peppers, onions, mushrooms, full of flavor. I had shredded chicken quesadillas with sour cream, refried beans, guacamole, lettuce and tomato on the side.
All very good! We will return.

We enjoyed breakfast here the Monday before Thanksgiving. Mary's was recommended to us by the front desk at our hotel. We enjoyed a big breakfast good but nothing special except for the biscuits and apple butter which were delicious! The fried cubed potatoes my husband ordered were good too. Eggs were not cooked as ordered so I had to disguise their runny yolks in my hashbrowns. Our waitress was very friendly but the hostess was not very welcoming and was almost scowling every time we saw her.

Apparently there was a wedding party stay-over for brunch on Sunday Nov. 12th. Our waitress was also the bartender and she warned us of the delay/wait, repeatedly, and apologized profusely. The French toast was fried with a crispy batter and the bananas foster sauce wasn’t that good-it was more like a buttery drizzle. We were there with good friends, so the hour wait to get our food went by quickly. I

Daniel’s Steakhouse has a wonderful buffet for either lunch or dinner. We just spent a few days in Hiawassee and ate at Daniel’s three times. We were never disappointed. Good salad bar as well as hot food buffet, all for a good price. The service was good, and it was obvious that “the locals” regularly dine there, since the wait staff knew many of the customers.

The restaurat is is well worth going to. During the week they have ordering from the menu and on a Friday nights they have a seafood buffet. Saturday nights is a prime rib buffet and I prefer it over the seafood buffet. Service, cocktails, accompany the good food.

Pretty mundane setting, out in the middle of nowhere. Does not accept credit cards,
only cash and checks. Atmosphere is marginal, somewhat crowded seating. Waitress was very knowledgable about menu and availability of some items.
Sirloin steaks were huge, fatty and tough, Fish was "skinny", Baked potatoes were real good. overall impression.. hardly worth t he drive. Prices were reasonable
