It's a restaurant and hotel close to the entrance gate to the castle Braunfels. Closer , than any other hotels and restaurants. A fine-looking, half-timbered house, nice decor inside, well-trained staff, well cooked food, though slightly expensive. Although with such a location it is not strange. Another thing is stranger â near the famous german historic attraction is located the restaurant of clearly expressed "greek" style. All these souvlaki, girosi, tzatziki and so on look more appropriate somewhere at the seaside in Chalkidiki, not near the Rhine in the centre of mainland Europe.

Wieder einmal mehr sind wir sehr gut verköstigt worden, bei dem uns nun seit gut 30 Jahren bekannten Joannis. In geselliger Runden haben wir einen schönen Abend verbracht.Von dem sehr schmackhaften Essen gab es wieder einmal viel zu viel. Auch das war kein Problem, da wir die restlichen Speisen schön verpackt mitnehmen konnten.Der nach dem Essen gereichte Schnaps auf das Haus (Ouzo) war obligatorisch. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

First thing we liked, the modern styling of the interior. Not the "kitsch" you normaly see in Greek restaurants.The staff is very attentive, friendly and shows an interest.Quality of food is realy nice, wel prepared with fresh ingredients.One comment, nothing to do with the restaurant as such; Greek cant make decent wine. (So maybe add some options to your winelist)

Not impressed by this German-Greek restaurant. I guess it caterers to the German idea of Greek food. The "garlic soup" was a heavy meat soup with garlic flavouring (vegetarians beware) and the meze was a heavy seafood platter, not what I expected from the menu description. I guess some people are satisfied with that, and the pleasant location in the middle of Schillerplatz.
