I passed this place 10000 times by car in the last years, and always thought we should try it one day, as it´s so close. At last this day came.The nice old Fachwerk building is welcoming, the garden is very intimate and the house is almost like you would go to somebody´s house for dinner. The atmosphere is very unique and cozy, with many old photographs, books and bottles.The menü for the food is short but the wine and spirit list is really huge.We enjoyed very much the meals and the wine, and definitely will return! Danke :-)

I adore this restaurant. It's very cozy and feels like going to someone's house. Seating is limited so I would recommend making reservations. The service is wonderful. Even when they are busy, the servers are genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Portions are huge!

Went here with our German landlord. The food revolves around white asparagus, it's specialty and other local and regional ingredients. The food was great, the staff were friendly, the ambience was special, and at the end of the meal when the crowd was thinning, one of the waiters sat at the piano, wow. We did not want to leave. Definitely would go here again!

Bei schönem Wetter sind wir gezielt in den Biergarten zur â Waldgaststätte Heide âgefahren .Die schattigen Plätze waren rar und die Atmosphäre ist seltsam für einen âBiergartenâ !Es fehlt auch an etwas netter Tischdeko ......oder Kissen ......etc.Was aber meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nicht geht , sind die Plastikpflanzen ( Buchs ,Benjamini) , die überall herumstehen !!!Huch !!!! Wo sind wir denn da gelandet ?Wir bestellten Schnitzel , aber wir bekamen die ekligsten ( wahrscheinlich aus dem Tiefkühler!?) Fleischplatten ever serviert !Nein Danke ! Das warâ s !Allerdings will ich der Fairness halber die freundliche Bedienung erwähnen .Aber der Gesamteindruck ist unterste Schublade und es wird von uns auch keine 2. Chance geben !
