This restaurant is located in the wonderful Schloss Waldeck. The location is really amazing. You can also sit outside and enjoy the wonderful view. The dishes served in this restaurant are very good, but highly priced for German restaurants. They have a good selection of wines which you should try with your dinner. Be aware that in this restaurant there are often wedding receptions as well and then the restaurant is closed for other public. Even when you have made a reservation you will only recognize this when being there.But overall, worth a visit - you will like it.

The Alte Molkerei in Höringhausen. First of all big compliments to the owners and the catering people that they have upgraded this ugly building in a very nice way. Looks really nice today with attractive color concepts. The interior is very open, especially for German comparison. Near the bicycle route Korbach - Edersee. Including a nice terrace. We had here a family dinner for three persons. Two of us had a döner meal, one a pizza. The pizza was very poor (no taste), but the Döner was delicious. Good meat quality, fresh vegetables. The service is also OK. Prices are very worth. We have been here once before, and again the döner experience was good again. The also have a home service.

We came with three couples in this very German restaurant at country side near Eder See. They were already closing but kept the place open for us. Inventory of the restaurant is a bit special. They have a proper menu with different meat, also goose in the time we were there, trout, salads ans some other meals. Some of us took the goose, I had a nice beef fillet, others had trout and rump-steak. Everything tasted well, German kitchen. I took a beer, open wines were okay. Staff was very friendly and prices reasonable.

We called in for a couple of drinks but stayed for a meal. Glad we did it was excellent. The waitress was attentive the food was delicious and plentiful. I have no reservation in recommending this place.

At this place you can find great burgers, great steaks for really good prices. They have indoor and outdoor places with a large terrace. Meeiting point for bikers and non-bikers.

Very good foof. Perfect service. And even if you dont like fish - you will find something nice there. But very crwded, because the camping sites around only have poor, fast food.

It was only by chance that we discovered Die Ratsstuben and how fortunate that we did.Besides the friendly service and the exceptional Hessen hospitality, this cosy restaurant offers a delectable choice of German delights including mouth-watering Schnitzels and Flammkuchen. We ordered a variety of dishes and ended up sharing each others food because it was all such an incredible taste adventure.The owner made us feel so welcome and I even got to meet his wife and her colleague who are both responsible for all this glorious food.Well worth a visit! I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

About 6 years ago a mixed German/Dutch family started this pancake restaurant in the former Railway station of Netze / Waldeck (Netzer Bahnhof). They renovated this 100 year old building very nicely. Lots of Railway related decorations inside and outside. They have a nice terrace on the North side of the building, but sufficient sunny. Playing ground for the children. Directly on the new bicycle track from Korbach to the Edersee. So far the good news. We visit them on a Sunday afternoon in June as a break for our walk. They just got a larger group inside who has booked before. We and many other guests on this busy Sunday afternoon had to wait very long. We only took a Cappucino (which was good by the way but too expensive EUR 3,30), and had to wait more than half an hour. The service was very unmotivated and not customer oriented. Even to bring a sugar for the coffee was too much effort. After a long time other customers were told, that if they want to order something they have to wait 40 minutes because of the kitchen occupation by the large group.
