I'm not sure why it works this way out here but waiters refuse to take your order if you are not their table. Waited for ages to order after being sat down as our assigned waiter was nowhere to be seen and one waiter shook his head and finger at us refusing to help. Food was okay.

Food was great, it is not the cheapest but prices were very reasonable. We were greeted with friendly service, best so far during our trip. Nice location by the sea. A little bit further away from the centrum so much less crowded. Could recommend warmly to others.

Beautiful place overlooking the sea and bay but looks can deceive! Both the service and standard of food at this restaurant was poor, we were also charged for a mushroom sauce ordered with a steak which never arrived. When challenged about this the waiter took some time to sort this out and did not apologise and seemed ambivalent.Recommendation: Expensive and not worth going.

We have just eaten at Portofino and enjoyed it enormously. Lovely location in a little square in old town (Herceg Stjepan square)... we we're treated to the local priest playing badminton with children! The food was delicious and very reasonable and the service faultless... highly recommend this place.

We had fish soup and bread to start with Followed by fish with potatoes and chard with salad We also had a beer each Very nice meal Bill was â¬14.40 which is amazing considering how much food we had Really worth a visit

We had dinner here twice, their kitchen outside along the boardwalk already smells so good!Both times dinner was very good, service excellent. Just dont order the mixed grill withput having anyone to share it with!

This is not your best culinary experience but the quality of food IS good and the prices are reasonable. This place came recommended. There is an outdoor sitting area. The service is ... carefree. They sure don't sweat over you but you don't feel forgotten. So, yes, I guess if you are close by and hungry, this is a good option. Ask for there home-made bread!

My husband and I visited this restaurant based on reviews, it was nice and not unpleasant, the service was alright but it didnât live up to expectations, nothing wrong with the food or the service hut wasnât anything special, we ate in much cheaper restaurants nearby that served nicer food and were friendlier

Pergola has very welcoming, nice and friendly staff. It has beautiful view of the sea and charming, lovely ambiance. Menu is very nice and varied, everyone can find something, and always full plated.We had spaghetti bolognaisse which was absolutely delicious. Mousles are also fabulous.Staff in Pergola is very attentive and they are always wanting to make sure we were happy with our meal. We returned to Pergola almost everyday and never has single dissapointment. Last but not least - it is very perfectly clean. All recommendations. We will be back to Pergola if we decide to go to Herceg Novi in coming years.

We've had our lunches here for a whole week we stayed in Herceg Novi this September!The waiters and the lady manager/owner all are super friendly and welcoming.I appreciated good choice of healthy food for vegetarians, especially loved lentils soup. They also have borsch, couscous with vegetables, avocado salad and others.My husband loved grilled fish and fish soup.Hope to come back next year!
