We strive to provide good quality freshly prepared food in a pleasant ambience, served by friendly and efficient staff. We also have a wine shop with a range of wines, craft beers, potstill brandies and local fynbos infused gins, and a deli shop with home made treats, olives, cheeses etc.

Ideally located on the N2. Stopped over en route, was quick. Very well stocked with local treats. We did not eat as we already had lunch- but the menu is very inviting. The freshly baked breads and pies looked great. They stock a wide range of Banting items - which we did buy. Next door, there is a well stocked wine shop, selling local as well as regional wines. Nicely priced with great service- well worth a stopover.

My husband and I had a late lunch on a sunday afternoon. We were greeted very friendly in our home language and shown to a comfortable table of our choice.
The setting was romantic and cozy. The Seating was spacious and clean. The service very good and quick. Preparation time wasn't too long and allowed for good quality conversation time.
We were given lovely hot plates, who does that anymore?! The food was hot and you are given an option on how spicy you would prefer it. Mild is not spicy at all. Try the Lamb Gost Badami! Yum!

Even though I am not a great fan of Quick Service Restaurants or franchises, the Heidelberg Spur still has something to offer. Perfect for a breakfast or a lunch, plus delicious bakes to take away. We had a delicious breakfast and bought a variety of baked goods. The home baked white bread is literally life changing, closely followed by the milk tart and lemon meringue tart :) you can even buy perfume there!

Not only was the food and service amazing but so was the wildlife. Loved the bat eared fox Cubs!! Best pies ever and the fresh baked bread range was superb. Can definitely recommend the butchery too! Will always stop here when passing by :-)Thank you for the kind review.
