Loved my signature cocktail! Service was quite slow and my salad came AFTER my entree. We really liked their pizza until the last time we went. We had ordered takeout by phone and went to pick it up. This was the third time in a row that they took our order but had neglected to actually make it. The last 2 times we waited there. This time my husband asked to see talk to the owner. Tom, the owner got done with what he was doing and came to my husband. My husband wanted to let him know that this was the third time this had happened and Tom started yelling at him to get the "F" outta here. Then he got in my husband's face and told him he was gonna drop him right there and Tom started shoving him really hard. He kept telling him he was gonna kick his ass and continued to shove him. All because they forgot to make our pizza.We used to eat there a bunch in Lihue and were excited to have a new location so close in Poipu. Sadly, we won't be going here again...ever. I'm guessing they won't make it through December. It's too bad

This should not be confused with the other Merrimanâs which is much fancier and more expensive. Very casual setting with tacos, pizzas and small dinner items. I had the fish tacos which were very good. The rest of my family shared pizzas and one person had the burger. I enjoyed it but it was on a rainy day, very humid and the ceiling fans werenât really doing it for me that evening. Food was good but I wouldnât say it wowed me.

Looked forward to visiting the restaurant. The first attempt was a Tuesday and it was closed. We drove back the next day for happy hour and glad we did. The pizza was delicious, fresh ingredients and a good variety of offerings. We had the Margaretta with fresh garlic and a version of Meat fanatics pizzas. Both were very good. Outer crust a bit doughy but the bottom was crisp so you could pick up a slice without it falling apart. Discounts on beer selections and drinks. The only question we had after the meal was "where was the brick oven?" . Still a mystery.

This is a typical pizza place, nothing special, but it's convenient to the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. You can sit inside, or on the covered patio in a sort of food court arrangement that's shared with other restaurants. If you have kids who REALLY need a pizza, this would be a good choice.
