Williams Inn is a fairly plain restaurant inside and out. It is not deluxe but it is not dowdy either. The dining room is pleasant. It has many large tables and some smaller ones. The salad bar is in the center of the room. Our waitress was pleasant and as attentive as she could be as she had to serve the whole room by herself.
We both had homemade chicken noodle soup, the salad bar and lake trout with potatoes. The chicken noodle soup would have been wonderful if it had not been so salty. The noodles were homemade and large. The chicken pieces were big. The salad bar items were VERY fresh, an unusual occurrence in a local restaurant. There were plenty of trout fillets, served with tartar sauce. I had fries and my wife had a baked potato. The fries were not greasy. It was a pleasant meal in an informal setting. We would go back again.

I've been coming to Harbor Beach for decades because I have family in the area, but this is the first time having eaten at Al's.
My husband and I went here hoping to get a quick breakfast before a funeral later in the morning. We got there around 7:50AM and they were open. Since it's December and tourist season is over, a lot of local businesses are closed or have shorter hours. This place did not disappoint. The locals sitting at the table right at the front door, drinking coffee, greeted us with a hearty "good morning" which was nice because we were wearing our formal clothes and are clearly not Caucasian and sometimes get the shifty eye in rural establishments.
The restaurant was not busy on this Monday morning. The one waitress working waited on us promptly and warmly. She brought us water in a caraffe (nice when you're in town for a funeral and spent the previous evening drinking heavily) and re-filled my coffee repeatedly without having to be asked. In fact, we didn't have to flag her down once.
Breakfast was reasonably priced: our ham/cheese omelet with rye, and corned beef hash with 2 eggs + rye toast and the bottomless coffee was less than $12. My husband's omelet had a LOT of ham in it and my corned beef hash was just the way I like it. After ordering, our food was out in fewer than 10 minutes. Our meals were filling; the atmosphere was cozy and warm; the service was fast, competent, and pleasant; the people in the restaurant were nice; and prices were an excellent value for the money.
I would go here again the next time I am in town and recommend it for a solid breakfast experience.

Stopped in for a Friday lunch while on a road trip with friends. Small town bar atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive. Surprisingly had a pretty large tap list and several Michigan brews to choose. Had specials for lunch: wings, chicken wrap, BLT salad and perch sandwich. All were very tasty. Fries were especially good!

This is a good Family resturaunt , they have good sandwiches, Burgers , Breakfest anytime and of Course Coney dogs. They have really big portions and the menu items are reasonably priced.

I love pizza with lots of cheese and Ernesto's Pizzeria delivers. They are small family owned business and they offer other Italian favorites on their menu, but it is their pizza that brings people back again and again.

My girlfriend and I went here Saturday 12-7-2013 with her sister and brother-in law, after finding the Crow's Anchorage Out Of Business. I had a wonderful Vegetarian Omlette. There are not a lot of restaurants in this area, so this makes The Harbor Brezze the best. Fresh Farm Raised Eggs and they usually have a all you can eat, soup and salad bar. Great service also!

Revolution Cafe features local, organic specialty beverages and light foods. Coffee was voted best around, smoothies are 100% fruit, and bagels are kettle boiled with house made cream cheese. Daily drink specials and seasonal foods changed regularly.

This is the city's newest hot spot......it also has wifi!
I came here several times on my 3 week stay with family. the owners also work hard to invest in the community so I feel good as a customer. It is the only coffee house around, but it is a really neat place.

This restaurant has been sold and is much improved. I'm not sure if they will remain the Harbor Breeze Restaurant or will be something else since it was bought by the owners of the Old Port Restaurant in Bad Axe, Mchigan. We ate there and were very pleased. The service was quick, the food was hot and tasty, and the prices very reasonable. The only improvement I can recommend right now is the salad bar. It needs to be watched more carefully by kitchen staff. The lettuce bowl was empty and I had to ask for refills. Overall, very good, especially since it was very busy!

Subways are all the same. What makes this place special is that you can grab a quick meal in Harbor Beach and spend your time walking the beach, or walking path, or visiting the break wall or just watching the water. No need to waste your time sitting inside when the harbor holds most of the charm of this lake front town.
Thanks to a young couple for taking a chance on a small market.
