We stopped in the afternoon for an quick early & simple dinner, so it was almost empty.
My wife had the "TurkeyBLT" Sandwich. It came with Hickory Smoked Turkey, AppleWood Bacon, Swiss, Red Onion, English Cucumbers, & a Wonderful Avocado-Mayo Aioli on Grilled Sour Dough Bread. She thought it was absolutely delicious, I sampled it & agreed. Her side was "Red & Sweet Potato Hash" which was also very good.
I was going to try the Pork Chop, but so glad I changed to the "Jebby Burger" w/ Bacon, Swiss & Sautéed Onions", medium rare, then add a small amount of mayo & ketchup, on a Grilled Brioche Bun & this equals "ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS EVER". So moist & tasty, I will definitely go back for this burger. My side was "Cheddar Grits" which was also enjoyable.
Our server was Ashley, who helped us with recommendations & was very pleasant.
Overall, it is a small, but nice & clean sports bar/ restaurant.

Being from New England, I have found it very difficult to find "Good" Bagels in North Carolina. As such, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a small place in Hampstead, North Carolina called the Bagel Bakery. They had the most awesome bagels I have had in 3 years. The service was excellent and very prompt. They even had SALT Bagels to die for. If in the area be sure to stop they will treat you well.

One would tend to think a Port City Java coffee house would serve a true Espresso Coffee - wouldn't you think so?
Well, think again, they serve an alleged Espresso coffee, which is just a strong version of a regular cup of coffee - WHAT ???
Let me be the 1st. to inform & educate the owners of this Alleged Coffee House Chain --> A true Espresso Coffee is a mini-cup of very strong and flavorful cup of ESPRESSO COFFEE - Brewed at High-Pressure and Temperature in a True Espresso Machine --> NOT just a Strong Cup of REGULAR COFFEE.

Fresh, Fast and Fun food made to order in front of you. Everything is made from scratch using high quality products.
I went to this place right after it opened over a year ago and was deeply disappointed as the food seemed very bland.
We decided to check it out based on comments from some of our friends and I was blown away with how good to was. Thinking this may have been a fluke, I returned the next week and it was just as good.
I love the salsa bar and multiple sauce choices. Their chicken is excellent. They are a very nice staff that even catered to the unrealistic demands of a two year old.
Large portions at great prices. The chipotle salsa is amazing. This has become my "go to" place in Hampstead.

This is a second location for the Sawmill Restaurant. Original location: 5611 Carolina Beach Rd., Wilmington, NC 28412
Local family took a group of about twenty to eat here after a Saturday funeral. They had made reservations, so we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The servers were very attentive to our needs (drinks, hush puppies, special orders). Being from the inland of NC, I ordered the Tuna steak. THEY KNOW HOW TO COOK IT! Along with the okra, I was in hog heaven. My wife had the pork chops (of which I ate one of them). They were tender; you could cut it with your fork. I give this place 5 STARS!! WE WILL RETURN!!

My family and I ate here last week to celebrate my husband's birthday and we will definitely go back. The sushi was very good and the price was ok. If you order more than 8 rolls, they will offer you the sushi boat. Take it, it's fun! They also have a beautiful aquarium.

We are a nice restaurant where you can come enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner in the hampstead area.
Visited on a late, Sunday afternoon. Service was okay. Waitstaff was friendly. Food was okay.
However, our Calzone was cold in the middle and one of the kids meals never came out. (Strange because it wasn't busy and we obviously had two children). To their credit, that meal eventually came out and we weren't charged for it. ---But, the rest of us were done eating.
Seems like most people enjoy this establishment so it's possible that since they recently opened in Hampstead, NC, that we may stopped in at an "off" time when staff may have been short, or, still in training.

Perfect for families on vaca and residents who need a real type meal at a affordable price. We almost always get hot fries and food. Our fav is the family feast which last most meals at least 2 days-12 pieces of chicken,3 sides,1/2 gallon tea (sweet, not and half/half. some of the best tea ever and great drinks with lots of syrup-never watery. with the meal you also get lots of meaty chicken supremes and tons of biscuits. Our last selection was mac.cheese-beans-slaw the bis/chicken pieces make a good breakfast the next day or dinner. We get take out plates and cups and the package they pack it in is user friendly so you never worry over it spilling in your car even if you are alone. Breakfast is served all hours and never a long wait either. The price for our dinner was 29.00 and a biscuit avg-3.00.They do have great country ham.
