QA has changed owners a lot since it was first opened in 2005/ 2006. Unfortunatly the quality of the food and service has diminished with the years as well.
The venue and the location is very good - right in the middle of the center of Hammerfest. Its a cozy interior, though a bit old and could probably do with some upgrade or renovation. You can choose between different types of seatings - Sofas, barstools etc.
The menu is average with toast, burgers, tortillas, salads - a typical Norwegian lunchplace. The quality of the food is just about average. They are not cheap on the amount, and the price is good.
Dont order vegetarian. Its not a real subtitute, you just get some extra vegetables. No beans or anything. The coffee is okay as long as its black. For cafe latte, cappucino etc they use a machine. So its not the real deal.
The best thing about this place is the toast I guess.
The problem is the quality the products.

Greatly enjoyed the beautifully presented reindeer filet with delicious vegetables and potatoes dauphinoise. Such large portions that I had no room for dessert!

We visited the bar and pizza restaurant because we had it recommended from our taxi driver. The pizza was excellent. At the bar there were 3-4 elderly locals and we could hear them talk. Typically old fishermen discussing todays news. Inviting everyone passing by into their conversation. A very friendly place.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Norway. Although a bit more expensive than Southern Norway, the quality of the food and the service was really high. The waiter (probably the owner) was very service-minded and made sure the food was prepared according to our needs (allergy). The main courses were delicious, and so were the desserts.

I have been having lunch at Pepes Pizza all the way from city of Kuwait where you also find one, to Hammerfest, the northernmost town in the world, and they are all OK, and the Pizza are like anywhere on these places. Have you been tasting one, you know what you get in another place.

Maten var kjempegod. Vi bestilte 3 forskjellige retter, og tok en smak av hverandres retter. Både rullekebab, kebabtallerken og biffstrimler falt i smak.
Det som var synd, var at det satte seg skikkelig lukt i klærne. Unødvendig å måtte vaske klærne da vi kom hjem. Vi sløyfet planen om å dra dit på pizza dagen etter nettopp pga det.

Very well located cafe just a few minutes from the quay where the ships dock. Large space with children's play area and excellent free wifi. The sandwiches and cakes looked lovely and coffee, tea and soft drinks were served.

The restaurant is located within the Thon-hotel, in the middle of Hammerfest. Even so, it is not easy to find their entrance. You can enter through the hotel, or from the main street (next to a grocery store).
You can often find empty tables in the restaurant. But, it is not because of the service or the food, because both are great.
They have a pretty small menu, but you will garanteed find something delicious there. Their wine menu is also perfectly set up with the main dishes.
You won't find anything better in Hammerfest, if you want a good, delicious meal.

A sushirestaurant in the northenmost city in the world, Hammerfest! A daring project, but a successful one. The only drawback with this place is the venue. The interior design is modern and cool, and its a good atmosphere. But there are few tabels and the solution of the room is not used very good. However, the good news is that the owners are working on doing something about this.
Apart from this the service is great and the food delicious! The waitress has a good knowledge about the menu and the food. She recommends drinks. They have Kirin Japanese beer, and sake. Its a big menu and the food tastes great!
