Gunpo (군포; Korean pronunciation: [kun.pʰo]), formerly romanized as Kunp'o, is a small city in South Korea's Gyeonggi Province, located south of Seoul in the Seoul National Capital Area. It borders Anyang to the north, Uiwang to the east, and Ansan to the south and west, and is connected to its neighbors and to Seoul by lines 1 and 4 of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway. Gunpo is also home to three stops on the Gyeongbu Line, a national railway that links it to the rest of the country. Although 73.2% of the city is greenspace, owing largely to Surisan and various smaller mountains, Gunpo is home to over 286,000 residents in several urban areas. The city's downtown core is Sanbon New Town, a commercial hub which centers on a pedestrian "street of culture" that Gunpo has designated as one of its eight scenic locations.

サンボン駅界隈のコプチャン店といえばここ
という位の有名店です。
テーブルがびっしりの店内は、平日でも18時を過ぎるとたちまち満席になります。
コプチャンは臭みもなく、美味しかったです。

Decent kimbap, inexpensive dishes, and very kind staff. This place serves my favorite variety of kimbap (chamchi-kimchi-miksu, or tuna and kimchi mix), which other kimbap places tend to turn their noses up at, if you request such a concoction. The staff were always very kind, friendly, and patient with my poor Korean skills.

本格的なインドカレーを愉しめるお店です。
2人セットというのがあり、カレーの他にドリンクやタンドリーチキンなどがついてお得です。
平日のランチタイムは空いていておススメ。

I'd give this a five star if the ladies who work there were more friendly. The fried chicken is seriously good, love the crispiness and that sauce!!! Noms! The ladies working there don't really smile, maybe they're tired of standing on their feets all day and constantly cooking. This isn't a restaurant, it's more like a street food place but not on a cart, they have their own stall so there's no place to sit. Usually people just order and go. Also, highly suggest you to brush up on your korean if you want to get your order right. Fried chickens are in a cup and they come in various sizes, you can also get a comboa with ddeok which are korean rice cake, but if you want just only the fried chicken, it'll cost a bit more. I think there were 3 different flavors, original, sweet and spicy and the super hot spicy. These chicekn are much better than the ones from e-mart.

질이 좋은 생고기를 부담없는 가격에 먹을 수 있어요.
밑반찬은 고기랑 함께 먹기에 아주 알맞습니다. 맛있어요.
