I am at a loss as to why people rave about this restaurant. I think you pay for the surroundings rather than the food. Contrary to what is said, this is not the best place to have a steak. That honour goes to Alex Bar.

Chose the best fish dish, lobster and tiger prawns, husband never tasted anything like it.I had sizzling squid and prawns, rice and never tasted anything like it. Staff were amazing, entertainment, young man balancing a tray on his foot and on his head, very amusing. Lovely experience and best place on the strip to eat.

This place was outstanding! The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Definitely try the shrimp and the crusted chicken dish.

Went there in January with friends of me who know the owner. Then the food were excellent the portions ok and you got full, service good.
Next time we went there was without my friend who know the owner. Then the service were very low, the food portions very small.
We choose fright potatoes and got sex thin slice for a main course.
Had asked for extra vegetables but we didn’t got it.
The place is clean what is positive.
How can a place treat people different depending of who you know! The bribing culture is all Owen. That’s so terrible bad so I can’t find words.

At GTS our aim is to ensure customer satisfaction every time. We serve from 8 am and close 4 am every day. Our services include breakfast lunch dinner and snack menus. Always ask your waitress for the daily specials. Our bar serves till 4 am with a DJ playing a huge variation of music. We also offer a pool table free WiFi and show most live sports events. Between 9 pm and 11 pm we have live music entertainment 7 days a week ranging from acoustic drumming and full bands performing classic covers.

Came across this bar on our first night in Gambia and had the best night here, they have live bands / dancers on every night the atmosphere is amazing! We tried a lot of breakfasts in Gambia and once we tried GTS’s we wouldn’t go anywhere else ,the food is amazing! All of the staff are second to none, the manager , the door staff and the bar staff. You all made our holiday in Gambia. Thank you GTS, we will be back ❤️❤️

A return visit with a group of UK students. The monkeys are a great attraction but will steal food at the earliest opportunity. Worthy of a relaxing afternoon visit for a few beers and a snack. Local wildlife abounds..

This is a little piece of heaven - lovely relaxed bar right on the beach away from the madding crowd. Fish is cooked straight from the sea upon request on the barbeque and cool beers and soft drinks available. The ultimate place to chill out.

I had a lot of laughs at this bar with Bob Marley and His friends! We spoke about the world and life and played the bongo drums. They showed me a good time like true gentlemen.

Our favourite restaurant in the Kololi area and certainly the best in terms of quality of food, Seashells is situated along the main road from the top of “the strip”. It’s is walkable being only 20mins max from The Kairaba or Senegambia hotels - we always walk along the side of the road (it gets a bit dusty but is totally safe) - but it is only a short taxi trip which is what most people do.
The cuisine is not all seafood as the name would suggest. There is whole page of seafood and a whole page of meat dishes in the menu as well as specials of both. Cocktails and wine are well priced. Food is well prepared and presented and is served by charming staff and owner.
Worth booking if you want to sit on the Terrace or in the garden outside as there are often larger parties arriving from other outlying hotels.
We look forward to returning once again
