Made reservations at this restaurant based on recommendation by the hotel. Service, drinks and the food was very good. The only issue I had with this establishment was the inclusion of DOLPHIN in their ceviche and a couple of other dishes. We obviously did not order them.

We were recently in Guatemala for vacation and stumbled on to this place without know it was a restaurant. We sat at the bar for drinks and got talking to the chefs. We asked them where we could find good typical Guatemalan food and one chefs suggested "Here of course!" He was not kidding. We can back 5 days later and the chefs prepared us a 6 course tasting menus of typical Guatemalan food. It was awesome. These chefs know what they are doing. Great food made by trained chefs at great prices. You cannot go wrong at this place. I only wish I could get some of these food here in Washington DC. Great job guys! Congratulations on your new space. and I could not leave without mentioning the great guy making cocktails. Vladimir knows what he is doing -- fresh and hip. He is competing to be the best cocktail maker in Guatemala so he can advance to the world finals. I hope he wins.

While looks a bit touristy at first we found this restaurant is worth a try given its excellent food both for local and some internationals. The most striking part of this restaurant is the decoration and place itself with the giant grass-roof house that makes you feel pleasant and a bit romantic.

Located right next door to the Holiday Inn with both English and Spanish menus, hereâa chance to sample some local Guatemalan cuisine.Not very busy, lots of waiters to get your order going. Also be prepared to have some âsalesmenâ come in from the street to see you some jewelry or even serenade you while you are eating.It was nice to try some local food here but overall canât say that it blew me away. The salads were OK, but the beef tenderloin was slightly overcooked and arrived swimming in a brown liquid sauce. Edible but forgetful. But the michelada beer was cold and hit the spot.Ate here for the convenience but will probably try another place next time.

Excellent steak house, open late. It was really awesome to try some of the unique cuts they had (something like filet mignon and they left a bit of the fat at the edge, which was awesome). This is a very expensive restaurant for Guatemala, but not so expensive by US standards.

Every morning was greeted with a smiling face and delicious breakfast. Not only do they have the regular breakfast staples, breads, eggs, cold cuts, they also have fresh fruit juices, omelette station, fried and boiled plantains (my favorites - yes for breakfast - don't judge) and the most delicious cheese bread! The waiters/waitresses were very friendly and attentive - whatever I needed it was brought to the table.
