This is easily one of the only few excellent dining spot in Shenzhen for foreign expats/tourists in this city. All has been told by previous comment here, the owner has actually living experience in Italy and has the heart on this culinary style so what we received was totally over than what we expected. With this price, it can be easily said that they are doing this just for serving the society / customers. They are not for earning money, so, please go and support this little shop.

During the day, the food options are delicious. The curry especially is delicious. Service is great. At night, a live band plays. The performers are very talented and lively. However, it's very tedious with the same exact music every night. I wish they'd switch it up a bit. Hi there, so happy to have your positive review and constructive feedback. Having said that, it is indeed a challenge to avoid repeating some of the songs that people request. I enjoyed the lunch buffet at the Mercado and am so glad to have gotten to try so many dishes. The selections were fresh and everything I sampled was really good. There were several vegetables and meats/ seafood from which to choose, plus desserts, salads, breads, and beverages. The dining room overlooks a pond and the decor is very attractive.The luch buffet costs 265 RMB per person.The Mercado is directly across from Exit C at the OCT Metro stop.

We had a lovely lunch here!For starters the atmosphere was decorated beautifully in Chinese motif. The service was very attentive and they offered an iPad with pictures and English descriptions of every dish. Very helpful since we have made many mistakes in ordering in other Chinese restaurants. We had all Dim Sum for lunch and all were excellent!Our favorites were the Vegetable Dumplings, pork buns and the sweet potatoes fried. Absolutely delicious!We would highly recommend this place!

Let's start with the positive: the restaurant sits on the 95th floor of one of the tallest buildings in China, so the view is wow. The restaurant is well arranged, the food is well presented...The negative: food is just average, choice is quite abundant but the taste is very average.A few examples, limited choice of sushis, the quality of the bread is sub par for a hotel/restaurant of this category, the duck rolls were average.All in all, quite disappointing with regards to the value for money. It is an expensive buffet at CNY 598.Maybe do less but better?

As a Paper Tiger, this Restsurant looks good and the food looks good too. What is missing is the taste. I agree that the food looks like a 5-star Restsurant, but where did the taste go? Things are very under-seasoned and bland to the extreme.There is a good selection and the artistic element is top notch. However, there are many things missing to make this place worth the extremely excessive price tag. The advertisements show nice thick charcoaled steaks (as an example). What you get is very poor paper-thin cuts of inferior meat that resembles a microwave dinner.The Seafood was ok but certainly not exceptional and the Japanese sushi and sashimi just fell apart and had no flavor.We were really disappointed with this buffet (especially at an extremely excessive price) and went out for local food afterwords.I am sorry to recommend that you stay away from this venue for breakfast and dinner, since we felt totally violated and underwhelmed.
