Gave this a try, but not impressed. Biggest disappointment was the housemade pasta, which was a special add-on to the menu. This night it was rigatoni. The pasta that came out had a name, but it was not rigatoni. Seems like a simple thing, but an "authentic" Italian restaurant should get the pasta shapes right, if they're making it. The marinara sauce was also so-so. The service was fine, so there's that.

Peace, Love and Little Donuts

Reviewed By Sabena Y - Yorktown, Virginia

Stopped by here while at the Grove City Premium Outlets for a snack. All the donuts are plain cake donuts with various icings and toppings. Some described would seem to be filled but none of the donuts are filled(such as Boston cream, lemon meringue pie, strawberry cheesecake). The donuts are smaller than usual donuts (maybe 2 inches diameter) but fat almost like small baseball. We got a strawberry cheesecake and salted caramel. The two donuts came to $3. The cake was kind of dry and tasteless. My donut tasted mostly of strawberry jam with just a small bite of "cheesecake" on one side of the donut. My daughter's salted caramel was a bit better with the icing more evenly distributed and the icing was yummy. I probably would not go out of my way to buy these again though.

I've stopped here for coffee and relaxation several times . The building is unique and nicely appointed. It's worth looking in to see how nicely this former retail store has been converted. The coffee choices are typical for a small coffee shop but everything is well prepared . Some pastries and biscotti are available.

great ice cream selection and super tasty, but the prices are a tad on the high side. Great location on Route 208 between outlet malls and downtown Grove City. Newly paved parking lot, clean premises. Also has vegetable stand during day in summertime.

Sweet Jeanie's

Restored 1906 building with mint condition 1948 soda fountain, back bar, fountain bar stools, booths, sweetheart chairs. Also have a "living room" area and a separate party/events room. Friday night Karaoke. This is the "Happiest place in town"!

Reviewed By Gavin B - Lagrange, Ohio

I wanted ice cream, and wanted it bad! Dairy Queen just wouldn't do it, so I found this place. After visiting an antique shop down a few doors, we stepped into Sweet Jeanie's and were very surprised.

The inside is cavernous, but not in a way that is uncomfortable - the tin ceiling and ductwork is painted very nice. The booths are kindof retro.

The girl behind the counter (wish I got her name) was so friendly and gave some hints on which ice creams go with what toppings to make great concoctions.

I had the peach ice cream in a cup, while my cohort had the granola ice cream.

Both had a taste that I can only describe as CLEAN - it was refreshing, had the perfect flavor, and wasn't heavy. I really savored every single spoonful.

The counter girl also told us to enjoy some ice tea or lemonade on our way out. We did - it was another refreshing end to the day.

They also have shakes, sundae's, and a menu of sandwiches and appetizers, which I didn't partake, but would venture to say they'd be pretty damn good!

This place was an A+!!

TimberCreek Tap & Table

Reviewed By Jason N

This was the second time I have dropped by for food at Timber Creek. The beer has always been nice; however, the food is waaaay overpriced and subpar. I was in town for work, so I assumed I could grab a quick dinner on a very slow night (2 other people at the bar). Well, after waiting for about ten minutes watching the two ladies behind the bar talk to each other, I walked back to the host stand a got a table. I explained to both the host and the waitress what had happened, but really got nothing more than a "huh". Ordered a salad, which was mostly iceberg lettuce, canned "black" olives (the dyed green variety), and a very small portion of tuna. All in, the bill was over $20. For what one can normally get in the area, this is unfortunate. Drive the extra miles and head to Mercer or Grove City for good food and service. Of it's good service in the neighborhood, just drive across the street to Elephant and Castle. This visit was a huge disappointment on all accounts, I won't be back.

They have the usual drinks available, but they also have some on-the-healthier-side packaged food options. Outdoor seating as well. Not a fan of their brewed coffee, but thanks to Arby's there is now a place to get a regular cup of joe.

I have eaten at many of the Primanti Restaurants and they consistently serve great food. Make sure you check out happy hour for fantastic drink prices. If you’ve never been to a Primanti the way they make the sandwich may sound strange but “TRY IT”. You get the meat of your choice topped with coleslaw, tomatoes and French fries, all served on amazing Italian bread. It’s always good to order fries on the side because they are soooo good. I also suggest that you add and egg to your sandwich 
