I enjoyed a business meal here and we had the restaurant to ourselves at first which made for a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional and although the food was of a good standard I did not find my dishes (langoustines starter and rascasse poelé) to be outstanding despite the €42 price. Nevertheless I think this restaurant is worth a visit if you would like to sample French cuisine.

This restaurant has it all, atmosphere, staffed by the family, fantastic choice of food, no pomp, extensive menu that streches over several blackboards and prices that do not require a mortgage. Whenever I visit Grenoble this is a must revisit venue both for lunch and dinner. About 5 minutes walk from the St Bruno tram stop. Nothing is too much trouble to the staff and proprietors so if you have special requirements, just ask

We spend the wednesday night here, there were not a lot of people. The food is really good and the owner is really nice. The meal came really quickly and we had shots of vodka three times (starter, main dish, dessert). The goulash was awesome, and we brought the leftover back home.
Bref, the place is somewhere to go if you want a quiet area with good food at good price, enjoy it ;)

Fresh and tasty food, 2 course menu below 20 euros and 3 course 24 euros. Gourmet menu 31 euros. The fresh market salad is nice option for a light 1st course, chacuterie de montagnes is a good choice of ham and sausage with some fresh salad. From mains grilled veal was very well done, tender and juicy accompanied with nice carrot which was not overcooked and potatoes baked in the oven in the cream. Also daily fish was very good in a good cream sauce. From desserts lemon tarte was classical and good and also fresh white cheese with strawberry sauce is worth to try. Pleasant and quick service.

Jardin du The

The « Jardin du thé » (tea garden) offers you hundreds of tea selection for sale, retail and consumption. Our profession is to advice you and serve you according to your taste and wishes, but also to select carefully and try out all our teas. It is also about looking for new accessories that allow to appreciate the tea at its fair value. Before being sellers, we first were hobbyist and that is the reason why we are also questioning ourselves.

This is not really a restaurant! They serve tea and cake! What an understatement. They sell 50 varieties of tea and wonderful home made cakes!! If you thought that the French only liked coffee then think again. We were only in Grenoble for 5 days and we visited this place 4 times and three times we had to wait to find a table! Brilliant place which seems to attract people of all ages and nationalities. Try and you will not be disappointed.

Quite a small restaurant which specializes in fish dishes. I speak very little french and couldn't understand the menu. The waitress only spoke a little English but was very helpful and I finally understood what was on offer.
As I didnt order a starter she brought me a complimentary celery soup while I waited which was very nice.
A very tastefully decorated restaurant which I imagine is frequented mainly by locals.
My main course of scallops was delicious.
Would recommend this restaurant.

Everything is freshly made from ingredients from the market. I like the concept of the restaurant une semaine sur deux. *Every other week*. You just have to get in sync with the schedule :)
The food is fresh, not too heavy, and delicious.
The restaurant is located several minutes walk from the city center near Championet which is in a trendy part of town near lots of other restaurants and cafes. Definitely worth a try and defintely a place I would go back to

A great little gem in Grenoble. The food is without pretention but beautifully cooked and really tasty. We got duck magret and scallops for main that made us quite happy. It is also very reasonably priced. The most impressive thing however was the owner who managed the floor and the kitchen on his own. Quite an impressive feat and hats off to him.
