Luxury Room with Great Service
Reviewed By DanielterblThe room I had was huge, fitted with very luxury bedding and a nice bathroom. Overall I was very very happy with the Great Service and attention that I received from the manager and owner, they picked me up and dropped me off at the airport free of Charge, all this while feeling very safe with the guards walking around. Great Value For money

Beautifully peaceful venue with outstanding service
Reviewed By ChantelleLRWe had a company conference at Whispering Pines and it was a really lovely venue. The service from Justin, Israel and the rest of the team was incredible. The rooms are lovely, Room 13 is a beautiful 2 bedroom unit with a fireplace in 1 of the rooms and air-con/heater unit in both. There are tea and coffee making facilities and rusks and biscuits in the room. The food is a really high standard and absolutely delicious, the breakfast spread was great as well - I cannot fault the menu. The venue gardens are tranquil and beautiful for photos, as well as fun team building activities such as a short hike to watch the sunset, or fun group activities such as scavenger hunts. I would highly recommend this venue for a romantic getaway, a wedding, or even a company function.

The Schoon Huis is a family run business in every sense of the word. This beautiful stone house was a dream Jenny Schoon, the wife and mother of the house, had in her mind for years, and it took 14 years to build. Being a 10 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport, this is the perfect stop for travellers.

Reviewed By MandiAnitaThe location was perfect, just outside the hustle & bustle of the city. We had booked for 2 nights. The venue was close to Cradlemoon where we went hiking and also the Lion & Safari Park where we went for a game drive was in close proximity. The surroundings at Pine Valley were tranquil, lovely long driveway lined with trees gave me peace. The place is well maintained. The family room was clean, neat and equipped with basic necessities. I loved the service offered, at the last minute I had sent a request to change our room type & the manager was very helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay here, will definitely consider coming again.

Best location for brain detox
Reviewed By mhlahl940597Perfect place to relax with family. We enjoyed the hike trail, the nights on the fire as a family and were fortunate to spot some wild life right behind our chalets. The Mountain View was spectacular, we got to see a perfect sun set. We’re definitely coming back.

I cannot put my finger on it but it is a place where you want to stay again, and again. The Boabab is different, no- it is uniquely different! Absolute great value for money! Something so beautiful and peaceful and tranquil should not be hidden from the world. This is the concept that prompted the development of this little piece of heaven. We have gone out of our way to create a nook of splendour in the country. You are still surrounded by modern technology and conveniences but you know you are not in the city centre and you can actually see the stars at night.

Reviewed By Jennifer MWe had business at Tedderfield Airpark, and this guesthouse was very convenient for that. Plus, it is near enough to Johannesberg for easy driving access to key tourist sites, while being in a safe setting away from the city center. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. A good value. Jan and Sonja were friendly, pleasant hosts, very accommodating and easy to deal with. They have created a lovely garden, which provides the setting for the guesthouse — with a sheltered braai area, a pool, and garden seats from which to enjoy the flowers. We plan to return!
