We hadn't been to the Unicorn for several years, but decided to meet friends there for dinner while on a recent trip to Cleveland. What a disappointment! I remember really good filets and prime rib from earlier days, but the filet I received on our lmost recent visit was not good. The texture of the filet was unusual and it had an unpleasant aftertaste. It was as if the meat had been defrosted several days before and allowed to sit in the refrigerator and absorb tastes from other food. My husband and one of our friends ordered the rib special, which they said was okay, but both raved about the red-skinned potatoes.
The service was excellent, but it just couldn't make up for the mediocre food. The restaurant is very rundown and needs a major renovation. We won't go back.

Great food. They do a burger of the month that's usually very interesting .. and different. We ate on the deck and it was nice. (although they wouldn't open the umbrellas for shade, as they'd had a problem with people swinging on them the previous night!) Large portion and, as my son said "ridiculous fries!"

Nice and clean was our first impression. Went for breakfast and the food was not just your typical food for breakfast. Pancakes were as big as basketballs. Home made rye bread for toast was excellent. The service was very friendly and efficient. Cant wait to go back

Lu's pizza

Reviewed By Gavin B - Lagrange, Ohio

I hate some places and their pre-made crusts....Lu's is quite the opposite. First time I tried it tonight, and was blown out of the water.

Honestly, the pizza looks like a masterpiece. I ordered 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 sausage. The sausage is ground up, and sprinkled all over the thing - it has an excellent flavor. The crust - yes, it has a nice crunch to the outside, and soft inside - you really have to experience it. The sauce I can only describe as - my polish aunt's. It has "that smell and flavor" that really brought back memories of my aunt's kitchen. It was weird!

I liked Marco's, and even Little Caesar's, but now I found THE place to get my pizza from now on. Really - give it a try! You honestly won't be disappointed.

I recently tried Marco's Pizza for the 1st time, and am now a big fan. I know everyone's tastes and preferences are different, especially regarding foods, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of this Pizza, as well as the kindness of the staff who served me. Gr8 value for the money!! (It seems they always have some sort of special going on, and they are especially kind to Veterans, I learned; Free Lrg Pizza on Veteran's Day)

I got the special which was chicken and shrimp with veggies and guacamole salad...tortilla wraps on the side. My friend got burritos. Both very good with the right amount of spice. Great portion sizes too. The restaurant looked a bit cluttered with to go boxes and some junk lying around but the food and service was good! Its worth a try!

My family went there for lunch and we ordered several sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was friendly and efficient. My sister and I loved the meatball subs and my nephews enjoyed their Italian combo and ham and cheese footlongs. Of course it would have been better if they had the $5 footlongs but that deal was over so I spent $31 on 4 sandwiches and 4 sodas.

It took forever to be served. We never got the drinks refilled, sour cream or queso dip we asked for. It took ten minutes to get the bill. Food was average. I have eaten here before and service was good...food is always average to good.
